Default Bored in Ct today...

Well after being incapacitated for the past month. I made it out for a small ride. I figured what the heck I'll bring the camera and shoot some pics...
For you locals, can you name this location ??

That looks really familiar, but I just can’t nail it down…

Are you up by Gillette Castle maybe? Or is that one of the reservoirs? Give us a hint here man.

Thats the damn on Rt ___, in Fairfield county. I can't remember the number. It goes along the lake and then farther up it takes a left (while going north) and crosses over that dam.

Mike, part of it is a dam, Not in Farfield county. Its in Litchfield county. The pics of the Z near the water fountain are actually below the dam.
Originally I set out to find some nice twisty roads, and intended to pass through this area. So, I brought my digital video cam.
I need to go out and spend a good day out there and see If any of the roads are worthy. when I can really go and enjoy it.

Is it in the southern part of Litchfield though? Lake Candlewood? I can't remember where the county lines are.

Yeah probly so... I should have spent a little more time with it. It just came back from Canon for repairs. I really didnt spend much time with it, just brought it with me... The settings were all on factory default.

The Canon ZR65MC is a Digital Camcorder .. you shouldn't be doing still shots with it.. the Zoom is horrible... thats why your pictures look so grainey.. kinda like the ISO is too high.. get a nice DSLR ... maybe a Nikon D40 .. great starter camera for those interested in taking pictures..

you look like you like taking photos.. get a DSLR
