Someone just sent this to me and I thought it was pretty unfunny (I love what the sun is doing on Friday ). By the way, clicking on the cartoon below will give you the weather forecast for Limerock. As I type this, it is a complete downpour (so the cartoon was correct for this last week) and the forecast for next weekend at Limerock is rain too (again, almost exactly like the cartoon!).

At least the odds are in our favor for a clear Saturday as this weather pattern can't continue...

The weather is the only thing that can dampen things but I am optimistic. We have to hit a streak of dry weather and I'm hoping it'll start a few days before the meet.

Looks like zchickz.com has a group going to Lime Rock on the 12th as well. I sent them a message to see if they'd be interested in coming to Connecticut and join us. I'll keep everyone posted. The list could grow by 5-10 cars if they join us.

 

Yeah, z2thdr's wife posted a thread yesterday: CT Meet July 12 (on ZchickZ board). BTW, z2thdr (Steve) is the guy who drove all the way down from Toronto to the Cape May, NJ meet and had the American Flag (great pic by MacGuru) on his antenna the whole way!

 

Guys, I HAVE to believe the weather will be okay. The current rainy situation has me depressed enough. If it's still raining by then, I won't be at the meet as I'll have checked myself into the hospital.

It's late June for chrissakes!

Hey Vic and Roger ,
From the size of the list going , I'm beginning to develop multiple Z envy . Maybe , the Righteous Brothers can change their song to Unchained Z's for Julie and I . This event sounds good .By the way , I know you told me that there is a fall meet being talked about ,keep me informed . Also . I started to plant the seeds at my dealership up here in NH to see if they would like to hold a future meet with giveaways , food etc . I feel they are very interested and will keep you posted . How about any plans to form a formal or informal New England club ? Anything developing there ? I'm sorry I have been so absent but I just finished up work yesterday and also was away for the Canadian Gran Prix . While there , I interviewed a Bridgestone Rep at a Bridgestone exhibit ( about Z tire cupping ) and will try to get that post out to this site as soon as I get more time . I'm off for the summer , but the little woman has my every move mapped out ! Oops ! Sorry dear !

Frankie, good to hear from you as always. No way you can sneak out on the 12th? ("Honey, I'll be right back"..... three hours later ).

Oh well, worth a shot as it'd be great to have you come since you were the inspiration behind putting this meet together.

We will definitely have to do something either in August or September up north. Hopefully at the meet we can get some ideas going.

We haven't had any discussion about a formal or informal New England 350Z club. I've been so busy putting this meet together that the idea hasn't even crossed my mind. I'll let other members express their opinion on this. You might want to start a thread asking if any other members would be interested in something like this. You're more experienced about things like this than I am.

It's been a while since the NH meet. Good to hear from you. I can't believe the number of cars lined up for the CT meet. You have to fiqure out a way to make it, just imagine 60-70 Z's
We thought 18 was a great a turn out at Plaistow. Cruise night on the Berlin Turnpike, Lime Rock, what a weekend! Let me know if there is anything I can do to get you and your lovely wife to join us. I may even add Springstien tickects to the raffel. I had mentioned a fall meet in central Mass in the Quabbin area let me know what you think of that. Hope to see you both in CT.

You just mentioned "that night". If it's at night and the concert is somewhere local you will have plenty of time to come to the morning meet at least and be back in plenty of time before the concert.

Victor, possibly this Friday, but this weekend I'm going to be back in CA at my cousin's wedding.

Jerry, yes they came in on Friday. My problem was finding the tire sizes I wanted. I completed struck out with 275/35/19 so I ended up ordering 285/35/19. I found out that the tires shipped today and I should have them middle of next week. I hope to mount and balance the week of the 7th so that I can be ready for the 12th. Hopefully nothing goes wrong and you'll be able to see them as you wanted. Below is a link to a thread I started with some pictures I took of the rims:
