I was considering goin to long island for the uprev as i have many friends donwn there and wouldnt mind the ride but I would rather get it tuned around my area. Do u guys think the uprev is really worth it or going to a reliable good tuning shop is the same thing?

if u go to long island ur not going to uprev, u would be going to performance motorsports which offerst the uprev tune...In ur area if u say went to ballistic motorsports they could prolly tune a utec or a emanage or some other sort of engine management system for u...uprev is not around here but there are professional tuners such as performance motorsports i know of and rt tuning in PA which is on this forum...

http://www.uprev.com/dealers.php (all places that offer the uprev software to tune the stock ecu..

UPREV is the only way togo IMHO! Take the trip to L.I and have it done! Adam will take care of it for you. I drive 4 hrs one way to have my car worked on at Performance Motorsports! Car has been tuned twice now with various mods.

A+++

Bump. Would also like suggestions. I have plans as well to do a full suspension setup, alignment, and brakes as well.

My 2 cents:

Akuma Motorsports
http://www.akumamotorsports.com

Their specialty is the WRX/STI and Evo platforms. They also work on some GT-R's. I already go there for regular maintenance and if I needed any parts installed I'd have them do it as well.

Well, your opinion doesn't count since you're moving to Florida!!!

You can also try R/T Tuning in Lansdale, PA

checked the sticky thread, but did not see what i'm looking for.

can anyone recommend a wheel shop? i have a crack in one of my SSR wheels, and i'm looking to get that fixed, as wheel as polishing (major curb damage too).

i was quoted $275 to fix up here in North Jersey, which sounded outrageous. thanks.

If you don't mind going for a drive, you could try Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA:
