I am putting some new seats and a radio in my car this week. I am thinking of getting rid of a few extra parts i will have this week.

First I have a pair black corbeau fx1 pros with sliders and red 5-point camlock corbeau harnesses (yes 2 of everything) for the 350z. Thinking $700 for a full set. (backs of seats could use a little cleaning from all of the vegas desert dust from sema)

Next up is a KVT-719DVD 7" pop-out excelon DVD player. I have the seperate hide-away nav unit, sirius tuner and single din dash kit. I will be keeping the plug and play wire harness but other than that this is a complete "bolt in" swap for the z.
$750 for 7" Excelon with a detachable face, touchscreen DVD, SD card upgradeable nav and a sirius tuner.

I will not have pictures til sometime this week (when the car comes back or you can come check parts out in person.

Willing to ship but it gets expensive.

If the same person takes everything I will throw in an additional discount.

Can you PM me some pics of the radio / nav unit? I am picturing a single-din unit with flip-up screen and some separate hard drive that stores the nav info.

Could I connect a hard drive to this so I could use it as a media player? And I am guessing you can use the navi while driving, unlike the OEM system. Let me know. I actually owe the tax man this year, but I still might be interested : )

u are 100% correct. I am picking up my Z tomorrow and will snap you some pictures asap! The Nav unit is made by Garmin for kenwood and is upgradeable via SD card. This is much better than teh stupid OEM NAV DVD's that cost $250 every year...but after a $2k option i just can't get allow myself to get rid of it.


The kenwood KVt_719DVD allows you to control the music keg hard drive or an ipod. I actually like the radio a lot (and the detachable face is awesome to have) but it blocks 50% of my OEM nav screen so I am moving on to a double din unit.

The dash kit is a metra and has the cigarette/cellphone/storage area that the Z lacks from the factory.

One thing I was wondering is whether the flip-up screen will block my cubby door from opening. That's probably where a double DIN unit wins.

Also is it GPS operated, or do you have to type in a Start and Finish point?

actually mine are timed so the open at the same time and do not hinterfere with one another....

All u need to do is type in the destination...I never used the nav as I have the factory one but I am pretty sure that is how it works....the radio will be out on monday and i will snap some pics then!
