FS Locally: StopTech 4 Wheel BBK
These are currently on my 'Z' and will not be coming off for a couple weeks...
I have had this kit on the car for about 1,000 miles. It is practically brand new. I don't track the car and I don't abuse it or beat the pi$$ out of it. The only reason I am selling it is because I would like to put a little money into my savings account. (I will be replacing it with a new BBK - just fronts only this time around... )
Specifics of the kit:
FRONT
* 355MM (14") Drilled Rotors
* ST-40 (4POT) Blue Calipers
* Axxis Pads
* Stainless Steel Lines
REAR
* 328MM (13") Drilled Rotors
* ST-22 (2POT) Blue Calipers
* Axxis Pads
* Stainless Steel Lines
The only issue I have had with this kit is a paint issue on the rear calipers. The only explanation I have received is that some brake fluid was spilled during the install. I created a thread about the issue here - https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/324604-did-i-get-hosed-stop-tech-issue.html. I was going to have the rear calipers repaired/repainted, but I have since decided to sell the kit instead, so the new owner is free to decide what, if anything, he/she would like to do about it...
Here are some pictures of the kit when I first received it (after a 5 month wait):

Rear Caliper

A picture of what is happening to the rear caliper paint:
Some pictures of the kit installed:
This kit retails for $4,695 and that is before the $100 per axle charge for the drilled rotors and the $200 per axle charge for the blue calipers. So, an additional $600 on to the retail price. (I realize nobody pays retail prices, but that is just for reference. ) If you don't believe me, please check Performance Nissan's website (Part #83-646-4C23): http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4206.
After doing some research and talking to a few people (one being a vendor who suggested I list them at $3800), I believe $3600 is a very fair asking price for this kit. As I say with just about everything that I list for sale, I would rather not ship this because I know shipping charges will be steep. The kit should be off my car within the next couple weeks when my new kit arrives. I'm more than willing to accomodate any interested parties in whatever way I can and am happy to drive to meet a buyer (within reason) for delivery. Thanks...

Let me know what you are looking to get if you take my brembos. they are in great condition, maybe 3 knicks, total. i wipe them down every time i wash the car and rims. I also have the stoptech stage 2 upgrade( rotors, brand new axxis pads-i use hawks, and stainless lines). also, if you could let me know how much you were quoted to fix the caliper with the paint peeling, i would appreciate it. pm me if you like. i can email you a pics of my brakes if you like. thanks
