anyone got any suggestions on things to do, good places to eat, places to stay away from anything will help

 

chicken & rice on the corner of 53rd and 6th when you're drunk

 

+1000000....halal's chicken and rice is the best (i like to get the combo, which is chicken + lamb plus rice)! the wait can get ridiculous, especially on nice weather nights....just make sure you park your car properly, NYC tickets are pricey!

forgot to mention, only go this one....the others are garbage. you'll know you're there by the lines of people....and remember to ask for extra white sauce, and if you like spicy, get some of the hot sauce

if you like japanese food, st. marks place is great....lots of small yakitori and udon places....st marks place near 2nd ave (downtown)

 

Stay away from the old Hunts Point Hoes. lol

lol chicken n rice is good... jus looks nasty when they make it...all sweaty and **** lol

 

well glad im here and have no idea which direction east is yet bit of a culture shock but cool as **** so far

 

ask for extra hot sauce on that chicken and rice & hit time sq after hrs

 

the hot sauce will kill you
