I've shot military weapons but never been to shooting ranges for civilians. Anybody know where it is in NJ and how it works? cost? etc. equipments to wear.. thanks.

Ray's Sport shop on 22 in.... Watchung is it? Somewhere between Green Brook and Scotch Plains. You gotta know it, it's on the westbound side. They have a shooting range in the store.

yup Rays is a good place to go. It's in the same lot as the North Plainfield Nissan dealership

Rays closed down. There is Sureshot pistol range in the Brick/Lakewood area that is a good spot.

 

when did it close down? must have been recently because i was at the dealership a few months ago and it was open

 

I just found this out recently. so it must have been within the last month or so.

 

well that sucks, i was hoping to go back one day with someone (me own no gun )

 

I would imagine this is a business that would be hit especially hard by the economy

you wanna go shooting? there is a nice indoor where you can shoot a ton of weapons, even rent some.

in South Jersey down 295.

 

Most people don't shoot indoors in Texas. They just shoot tow truck drivers, cite some ancient, poorly-written law about protecting cattle, and get away clean with murder.
