Just a note for future reference: regional posts are best answered in the appropriate regional forum.

Why would you need to weld a bolt-on exhaust ?

Not to sound silly but why do you want to put an r35 exhaust on a 350z? It won't sound the same nor will it perform better than someone designed for the Z to begin with.

If it is minor changes I am sure most exhaust shops will be able to weld it. I had a custom exhaust done a while back and if I had to do it over again I would not.

I believe RCT in Queens use to have someone who was fairly good at doing exhausts but I think the guy who use to do their exhausts has left.

I can ask a friend who makes custom headers etc for BMWs but he is located in Jersey. Not sure if you want to take a trip out there.

that thing is wide as hell btw. i played with one to measure specs for my G sedan and it's just way off for our cars. the rear section is almost as wide as my rear bumper on my G sedan

Yea i measured, im going to change the rear bumber so it will look like corner exhausts instead of being almost in the middle which is how our Z comes factory. Im doing this because i think its the best air flow i can get with a straight pipe concept. And what better company then Nissan itself, i have read of people even losing HP after changing their GTR exhaust. Anyone dislikes my idea? I would like opinions?
