Default Tein Flex w/EDFC install at XXTuning

For all you CT guys wondering how my install went today, here are some pics. I didn't leave XXTuning until about 8:00pm. I've got to say that they did a great job and I am extremely pleased with the install. Very well done with attention to the details. The handling on the "comfort" setting is amazingly better than the stock setup. Well worth the investment (Gerald, Greg are you listening?) On the stiffer settings it only gets better.

Ok, so on with some pictures.

The first is the front suspension.

I'll get pictures of the drop later since its too dark to get a good picture now. The drop I decided on was 0.75".

WOW! That looks awesome. I like where they put the EDFC unit. Looks like another job well done by XXTuning.

Can't wait to see the pictures with the drop. If you're not too busy tomorrow, stop by. I'll be home all day messing around with the yard, etc. I'd love to go for a ride.

Default Nice

Nice install Jeff.

When I left around 1:30 I had a hunch you would be there a while longer.

I think you picked the right spot for the control unit. It looks good there and it's in easy reach.

Congrats.

Hey Andy, you left later than 1:30 because I left a little after 3:00 and you were still there. Thank goodness I left, I can't imagine staying there until 8:00 (my wife would've killed me).

Once again this shows XXTuning's great service for not leaving until they finished the job.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I figured I'd be there until 5:00pm at the latest, but Danny took his time getting the mount in the dash just right. And I guess I kind of forgot about the need to reassemble the interior. I'm going back on Tuesday to get the hood done.

Victor, I'll try to swing by tomorrow and you'll get a ride before Greg.

Jeff, I just caught your post. Hey just because Victor lives closer doesn't mean he should get the first ride Just kidding, but I do expect to get a ride even if I have to wait until spring.

Don't worry Greg, you'll get a ride as well. Hopefully it won't have to wait until spring, but then again, this is New England and winter could show up with a vengence at any time.

Nice work. I'm sure they'll ride just as well as they look!

As promised, pictures showing lowered ride height. The front was lowered ~0.75" and the rear ~1.0"

Andrew, I sent you a PM.

As Jeff mentioned, I will post below some pictures.

I thought the height of my car was fine until seeing Jeff's in person. I definitely will be dropping my car now but I will probably just go with Eibach's as the Tein's are too pricey for me. The beauty of the Tein's is not just the height drop but the fact that at the touch of a button you change the ride comfort instantaneously. The EDFC allows for 16 different settings and you can adjust the front and rear ride with different settings. It's definitely a slick system.

His height at this time is about .750" lower in the front and 1" lower in the rear than my stock height.
