And tomorrow my brothers and I are going on a 600+ miles round trip for car parts. We will be hitting MD, NJ, NY, and then coming back home to PA. Hopefully with many high dollar and high horsepower pieces
damn! that's awful. I have had both amps that you have, they are both great, I'm sure you agree, ha!

Post up some pics of that road trip's trophies, sounds interesting.

Well the road trip wasn't all that we had planned.

1. We took my brothers trans from his mustang to a guy that is going to rebuilt it.
2. We picked up my brothers bad 5.0 short block from JPC Racing.
3. We took that short block to a guy that wanted it and sold it to him for $1k.
4. (This step didn't happen, still trying to work it out) We were going to pick up a twin turbo kit for my z.
5. We picked up some CCW wheels.
6. We rented the only car dolly that Uhaul had available in the whole area, we had to pick it up in the bronx
7. We went to look at a built New Edge Mustang that we were going to pull some parts off of and flip. It turned out to be a piece of crap of the exterior. Everything under the car is very high end, it just looks like dooky, so we are going to end up parting the whole car and scraping whatever is left.

The trip ended up being about 13hrs 30min of driving time and 630 miles. We left the house at 7am and got back at 1am

So overall it was a successful trip - hope that TT kit still manages to work out.

In my world, waiting for a new-to-me clutch to arrive and still looking for a daily driver. Going to start actively searching this weekend.

Have just been enjoying the scenery around campus and practicing with the camera.

What are you doing with that supercharger? Donating it to the needy?

I like your car picture and all but if your going to be practicing your photography skills on a college campus I can think of more interesting subjects for your artist photography skills...

Yet again with this one Mike. Colton and I are both down here, thats 2 against 1, so you have to make the drive down here.

And I'm not sure what to do with the vortech or the turbo kit. I keep going back and forth between them

You should just find another Z for the turbo kit, considering you could probably find a salvage title running and driving Z for the price of a used twin turbo set up you might as well just get another one.

My student status tells me thats not the best idea. Getting the turbo kit in the first place is already pushing it

Why thank you. I didn't even realize both of our wheels had step lips to them.

Motivated,

I went out and put my dash back together, after ripping out all that wiring harness somehow my constant power supply disappeared from my head unit... I rigged it up to the cigarette lighter for the time being...

Was going to change out my spark plugs but looked at all the **** in the way of the. Coil packs and came to the conclusion I didn't have that kinda motivation today..

And I need to go pay the ransom and save my clutch and flywheel soon...

Yea plugs are no fun. When are you coming to get that extra vinyl.

EDIT: Colton you just have to commit haha. I never knew how to install a supercharger, or do all of my wiring, or put in a roll cage, or vinyl wrap, or swap motors, until I just go for it

I'll be over tomorrow night probably to pick them up, grabbing my daily next weekend and then after the next CnC - it will begin. Gotta call up R/T as well and get some logistics setup

Its easier to jump into ripping the car apart when you dont need to rely on it for the next day...

Just took it for a short ride, my wife was not impressed with my handy work.

Apparently I need the whole valve cover because the spark tube gaskets are not replaceable... Serves me right for buying maintenance BS instead of fun stuff.
