Default Kinetix Plenum

Hey guys, I got my Kinetix Plenum a month ago but I havent had any time to install it. I was wondering if anybody has installed this plenum in the Suffolk/Nassua area and is willing to give me a hand. I probably wont be able to install it until after May 20th but if you any of you guys can help me out I would appreciate it. E-mail me at standalonegt3@aol.com. Thanx.

I'm not in the area but a plenum swap shouldn't take much more than 2 hours.

Where are you located? I have installed one. Maybe we can get together at a meet or something and figure a good time to install it with everyone else there to watch!!

I'm in the Nassau Area. If you need a hand let me know. I installed mine almost a month ago and found it to be pretty easy. Only hard part was the Throttle body (those were a B!tch to remove)

Default Kinetix

Hey every body, i finally got the ***** and put on the plenum last night. I haven't really pushed the car yet, but boy does it sound damn good. Thanx to someone on this site that had great step-by-step directions, it was pretty easy...but of course nothing is ever easy and i ran into a problem when it came time to take the throttle body off. For some reason, i got one of the allen heads off but could not get the other 3 off, eventually i got them off and carefully looked over everything before i turned the car on. The car has a growl when u turn it on, i love it. If you love the sound of a the JWT popcharger, ur gonna love it even more cuz it sounds f'in awesome. Anyways, thanx to every body who offered a hand but i had to go at this on my own hehe. One last thing, how many of you who have put on this plenum put the engine cover back on??? I kinda want to leave it off... u think thats a bad idea?

This isn't good to hear. Where is the crack, how many miles did you put on it before this happened? Now I'm nervous.
