I'm actually sending in my BEAC membership paperwork tomorrow. Any idea if it will go in effect before the weekend? If so, I can go and bring my friend (Justin w/the white ITR). If not, both he and I would need to tag along w/someone. I guess if Noel can take me, we can prob find somoene to cover him?

You got a PM.

I can get you in on Sat if your membership hasn't kicked in, but you and MadMax76 will be it for me. Lemme know when MM gives you the thumbs up on your membership.

Looks cool, Eric. I agree with Noel on the size though... I didn't know that NSX's came stock with 13s, but I'm sure you can fix that soon!

Bummer about this Saturday though... when's the next one?

Dude, all this frastration with missing gates finally paid off. I learned the course and got my best run into 49s - 49.832 to be exact. I also know all the mistakes I made so given more time I could've done low 48s.

Maaaaaaan I am so excited I can't sit staight! Can't wait untill the next one!

Glad you enjoyed it. I wish I could have stayed around longer to try the course a couple more times. All the distraction of people jumping in and out of my car for rides really threw me off. I was beginning to feel like a cabbie . I kept heading into the hairpin too hot on the 2 runs that I had just by myself.

Couldn't get an accurate determination if that K&N filter made any difference. Although my test was far from controlled.

Next event is Enduro. Very different than regular autocross. Gotta get the course right on your first run or you'll end up missing gates your entire 4 laps. and you'll only ge one shot at it (maybe 2 if we're lucky) And like Glen said, "Don't forget to breath!".

Yea, man too bad you didn't stay. We were done early and I was on the freeway by 4:15 going home. It's nice when everyone helps out after the event. We probably cleaned everything up in 15 min.

I am starting to think how I can improve handling right now - sways, coilovers etc. Once I do that then I will start thinking about tires and stuff, but even stock right now it's tons of fun. I am pleading my case to my g/f right now so hopefully I can come for the enduro .

P.S. As far as breathing is concerned - it's easy to do if you talk yourself through the course outloud as you drive .

What?!?! How the heck did that happen? You guys didn't get started on the second half until 2PM. Oh man, I was really hoping to get a lotta seat-time in today. I can't believe how long it took to get setup this morning. You'd figure that with a million people it would take less than 2 hours to setup a simple autoX couse. Plus the trashing of the timing equipment didn't speed things along either. I'm concerned that w/ the turnout at the next event we may only get one shot each at the Enduro course.

If your looking to make mods that would make you faster in autoX (and you're not concerned about stock rules) are: better rubber (Kumho V710's), adjustable upper control arms, shocks and a true LSD. Do those things and your times may be the bench mark for all the Z guys that come out on a practice day. Just warn us in advance.

50.386 was my best for the dayl...can't say I'm happy with that time, but I had a blast. Afternoon session did go really quick though!
