There is going to be a big meet on Sunday in Jentzen Beach. Looks like close to 30 cars or so. It is being organized by the EVOs but many Supras, Subarus, and other cars will be there as well. They are probably going to go for a cruise afterwards for those interested. Seems like a cool group so I think I'm going to stop by to check things out (and reprezent tha Z yo!). If anyone wants to caravan let me know.

Looks like there is a group meeting up in Beaverton. They are looking to LEAVE the Starbucks by 11:00-11:15AM. I'll probably be there 10:45 or so.
People coming from West of Portland and South of Portland, there is a caravan starting at the 24 hour starbucks off 217 and the Canyon rd exit. Its on the sw corner of Fred Myers. Here's the address and you can google map it.

Steve-
What happened after Security showed up? Did you make the drive to Mt. St. Helens? The drifting at PIR was hilarious. There were 30-40 imports and one guy in a 70s Camaro or Firebird track-car. He was generating a huge cloud of tire-smoke and putting on quite a show.

Security was OK with us staying there as long as we didn't have our hoods up. Apparently that would have changed the status of "gathering" to "event". So they were actually fine with us being there.
I took off before the drive started. The responsible crowd ate and chatted while the immature kids started doing burnouts in the parking lot which caused a few calls to police who eventually showed up.
I'm going to get together with some of those guys in a smaller setting. There were some cool people there but the Civic crowd trying to show off was exactly what nobody wanted.
I heard that there were several 100+mph speeding tickets as well so I'm glad I wasn't around those people on public roads.

Two cops were rolling in as I was rolling out. That told me all I needed to know. The drifting thing was totally free-form. There were a couple of cones on the pavement, but some of the drivers seemed to completely disregard them. It was like watching the tye-died crowd at a Grateful Dead concert: spinning aimlessly! One guy heated up his back tire and it blew, much to the amusement of the crowd.....
