I can't wait to hear about how the AutoX goes for you...see if there's a big difference in your times.

(Speaking of which, I really need to head out to one soon...would love to see how my car does with the new gearing. Time to buy another set of rims with r-compound)
It gives a good hint as to what's underneath.

I think the E92 M3 will have a similar looking hood.

Personally I think the new nismo Z body kit looks incredibly ricey, and your car, being 4 years older, looks a hell of a lot better than it by the work you've done.

I would have been ready to smack you upside the head if you gave up that ride!

The engine is now the VQ35HR. It's something like 80% part redesigned from the VQ35DE. The most notable difference is the intake, it's now a dual intake so the plenum was completely designed to support that. I haven't taken the engine cover off to see if it is 2 sepreate plenums or if both are flowing into one.

My education on the HR engine is only beginning. I figure as far as modifications to it; an intake and maybe pulleys will be it for a while until more proven parts become avaliable. LSD and coilovers will probably be my priorities before I am concerned w/ creating more power, 306 bhp is fine for now. I'll also need new wheels and R-comp tires too. I have a promise to keep for the '08 season next year, I wouldn't want to disappoint.
