yep, it was the black one. This guy had the best attitude when it came to what happened. He was able to laugh about it later the next day. Not that it didn't effect him financially and inconveniece his life, but he had a good take on things and was happy to be able to walk away from it unharmed. Hasn't phased him any, he still autoX's and is still a maniac on the roads.

he did - Drivesolo is right, he took it well. Plus he's just a great guy to be around, even if he drives a S2k

I let him drive my Z at the last WWSCC event I attended, and Dkorr too if I recall correctly. He was still under the impression that he could've done better in his S2k even though he took 1st in Novice w/ it.

But w/ his mods, he will be running in IA in 2008 vs First350 and myself. Just makes the '08 season all the more interesting.

I drove his S2K at the last practice (there was slight rain/wet conditions) – the car felt easier to control compared to the Z (smaller/lighter), but even in the rain 2nd gear didn’t have enough power for some of the slower corners…IMO that’s where the Z excels.

I think tighter courses (i.e. Everett) can be better for the Z b/c we have enough TQ to leave it in 2nd gear, while S2000s and RX-8’s will either go to 1st or struggle in 2nd.

IA should be a great yr for 2008...praying for a 1st - 2nd 350Z finish!

Does this mean that Scott B. is part of the VQ Challenge? Or is he just a random variable?

Not sure...since I'll already have times for the car, it'll only show the differences in the driver - so it's more of a driver's Challenge!

^ Ahhh... tricky. It just occured to me... you've got a tire warmer there.

I'm guessing you'll be bringing your tire blankets too?

I think the 615's are pretty close to R-comps when it comes to heat. They don't like too much, but get grippier the more they have. If it rains I think it'll be tough to get any decent amount of heat into them. A co-driver and tire blankets may do the trick provided we're not splashing through standing water.

Nice! If you run on the 615's on the same size wheels and offset as me, that'll be a perfect way of doing some baseline comparisons.

I've landed a job of helping w/ setup on Saturday afternoon, so no chasing cones in the rain for me.

At this point, only Eric and I are signed up for the NOVP. I guess that means it's mano y mano.

Oh, and Zane got rid of the FC and picked up an S13?
