Default winter tire mounting $50/4 wheels mount&balance

just got my civic tires mounted at Tight N' Tidy - they mentioned that they've been busy doing winter tires...so just a reminder that they can do all sorts of tires.

http://www.tightntidyracing.com/Tire_Services.html
$50 for 4 wheels mounted/balanced.

*I was mounting 155/80/13's onto my OE civic rims...I was going for the most narrow and tallest tires I could find (trying to maximize fuel economy) - it was actually a hard fit b/c the tires were so small compared to the rims, but they got them mounted and on.

when the UPS guys dropped off the tires, they looked around my garage and asked, "are these for a go kart?" - ROFL!

2 civic tires are as wide as 1 of my 350Z tires!!!

here's the tires mounted:

+1 for TNT Racing. Karl and Amy are great people. I went to them last week to get some tires mounted on my Sparcos. They're also the only place I know that will do that kind of work at 8PM.

BUMP for an AWESOME shop! I met with Karl through Peter's recommendation and he was top notch. I called up and he was ready when I came. Had to get 1 of my Meister tire remounted when I first got it and it took less than 7 minutes Awesome work!

I believe that's what it's called...drivesolo would know better...

*I had them flip my BFG's on the work CR Kai's that I had - they've never scuffed or made any marks on any of my wheels (I've had 5-6 sets of wheels done by them in the past yr)

here's the info from their site:

Ranger R26EX Tire Changer
The tire machine we use is designed to take on the widest wheels and the most stubborn to change tires. It's built for racing! The Model R26EX features exclusive Dual Pneumatic Power Assistants capable of flexing even the stiffest sidewalls and a Power Taper Roller to allow easy bead lubrication and mounting. A special Total Rim Protection Package protects even the most delicate wheels through the entire process.

DST-1000 Wheel Balancer
This balancer uses “Digital-Sensor Technology”, a highly accurate sensor system. The proven “Direct-Axis” drive system that is accurate to within hundredths of an ounce ensures wheels are balanced vibration-free. The DST-1000 features Dynamic, Static, and Performance Alloy capability. Not only will this machine balance your road race tires, but also your daily drivers!

Yeah bro it's touchless. They did mine without ever touching the metal outer part of the wheels

I'll def keep these guys in mind. Planning some black steel wheels, big tires, and a lift for the ZJ.

I'm looking at plain black steel wheels. Ones with the pinstripes usually have one red and one blue one on each wheel.
