Also if you don't mind, where's a good place to stay probably in downtown Seattle is that decently priced? Also, what are some good places to see in Seattle. I'm taking my gf up there for her bday because that is where she wants to go.

I'm only doing Saturday - I've been trying to get my wife to come out and drive, but a competition event is a lot harder to get her out to (I don't have as much time to help her b/c I'm running around prep'ing the car, and it's a bit more stress for her b/c ppl are more serious).
Not sure on places to stay in Seattle…I've only been in the area for a few yrs and have never been to a hotel there. Places to go:
-Mariner's game?? (It's supposed to be hot this weekend…so that could be nice)
-Pike's place market
-EMP (Experience Music Project @ space needle)
-Ferry ride from downtown Seattle to one of the islands (provides great views of Seattle)
-Alki Beach (across the water from Seattle…eat at Salty's for a great view (but $$), or just walk along the water front. Duke's is a good place for clam chowder and isn't too $$)
-there's lots more to do…just depends on the kind of stuff you/she likes

there's a double AutoX event this coming Sat/Sun at Bremerton. (You don't have to do both)
Sat: (I run AM) http://www.wwscc.org/evinfo/2008wwscc1.html
Sun: (I run PM) http://www.wwscc.org/evinfo/2008wwscc2.html
*I'll be at both events in a boxster. If anyone wants to come out and wants/needs someone to show them around, I'm more than willing to. (it's easy to get a little lost if it's your first time autoXing)

I am running in the AM. If you go, let me know and I can meet up with you after my runs are over - if you're running TO (time only), you can ride w/ me if you get there early enough.
Don't forget to mention that both days are part of the Torque Steerer's mini-championship series. If you place highest in points out of both days in your class you recieve another trophy for the weekend series, in addition to the others from the individual events.
I spoke to someone form the WWSCC board and they think that there might be enough events this year (5 minimum) for a championship series. Which means that if you want to be eligable, you'll need to attend at least one of the events this weekend.

FWIW, I'll be running in ST1 (this class is for stock cars to run w/ street tires...this would apply to alot of the Z/G guys!!)

you guys missed out - it was a perfect weekend:
1) no rain, snow, hail
2) Sun w/ a bit of cloud cover (not too hot, but warm enough for shorts)
3) Fun course (got into 3rd gear for a small portion)
4) Finished 1st on both days in the Street Tire class.
There's an SCCA event down in Packwood this coming Sunday - anyone coming?? (I'll be there, as well as PDX_Racer)

FYI - I run in the AM (Since I'm competing in a specific class, my run times are already set for every event)
