Departure Time: 8:30AM sharp. This VQ group waits for no one!

Suggested Items (could be helpful):
- Cell phone
- GRMS radio (Channel: 15.1 alternative FRS: 10.3)
- A printout of the map if you are unfamiliar w/ the area.
- The cell phone numbers of atleast 2 other people that will be participating in the caravan


Alright... The plan is set. Now let's see how long this giant VQ powered snake is gonna be. We'll get together to meet & greet and get organized for a group picture. Then headout to Golden Gardens. Due to the massive size of this caravan; everyone is responsible for knowing how to get to Golden Gardens from Northgate mall (see maps - https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...&postcount=148). Those of us that live locally will assist however we can and we will try to stay together as a group, but ultimately it is each driver's responsibility to be able to make it to the roll in spot on their own if for some reason they get seperated.

Keep in mind that utlimately, you are responsible for being able to drive from Northgate Mall to Golden Gardens based on the laid out route. The caravan will be broken up by stop lights and other traffic that we will encounter. We will do our best to stay together and stay in communications w/ the radios. Obey the traffic laws, do not run red lights, travel at unsafe speeds or cross over into on-coming traffic just to keep up w/ the group. We will all regroup at the meeting location by the side of the road leading into Golden Gardens.

From the time we roll into Nothgate Mall until the time we park at Golden Gardens, our actions have the potential to impact everyone else in the caravan and NWN. Please be aware of this and act accordingly. If you notice anyone in the group that is doing something that could reflect negatively on us as a whole; please politely mention it to them. If someone is concerned enough to mention something to you; C'mon... ease up for everyone's sake, this isn't the Gumball.


This is how we roll:
- We'll assign 2 people familiar w/ the area; one to take point and one bring up the rear of the caravan. (Note: from the last count we are at over 40 cars strong we will need everyone's cooperation to make this work out smoothly)
- Everybody in between just needs to follow the guy infront of him, we'll spread out the people that are familar w/ the area in between so there should be someone who knows where to go.
- Everyone in the group should have at least 2 cell phone numbers of other people in the caravan in the event that you get lost (realisticly, you'd really have to try to get lost, it's a easy route).
- The lead car will attempt to come to a stop along the side of the road, if possible, before the park's entrance (Here's your chance to put your passenger to work and have him/her get out and get ready to take video or pics of the line as we roll in). If the group is too large we may have to keep moving to prevent traffic from backing up. The last car will give the all clear when the tail end has caught up and then we all roll in together.

Not to ruin anything, but isn't leaving at 8:45 a little late? If we all want to park together, I think its going to be difficult showing up at the meet anywhere past 9:15-9:30. The drive is going to take at least 30 mins which means we are going to be cutting it very close

If we're going to meet at 8 and try and be out of there by 8:30, it might be best to get all the cars lined up for pictures as we arrive. If the pictures are going to be taken the same place as last time, the first cars to arrive should just park in that area and then help direct people where to line up.

Also, if everyone gets it in their heads that the pre-meet is at 8 instead of thinking they need to just be there before 8:30 when everyone takes off, we should be less likely to have to wait.
