Default Should redlude97 get these?

Yes, the 19" JLines he has now are very nice. Rare, custom 2pc forged, matte black, polished inner barrels, etc... They look great, but only with the spacers that are on now. The offsets are good (great for most) but not ideal for Flushness Junkies like us. Also, the narrower 10" rear and super narrow 8" front really kill you on tire widths and lip size.

So, I bring you the SSR Professor MS1. We've talked at length about these more than once. He loves everything about these. Huge stepped lip, silver spokes, JDM SSR goodness, a clean/classy look and very uncommon. He particularly likes a set that just went up or sale this week that features killer custom-ordered fitments and his beloved Falken FK452 tires. 19x9.5 / 19x11. The seller is a homo, meaning he's a member of the Secret Offset Society (SOS). Judging by the pics, I'd estimate around +12 front and +15 rear (+/- a couple mm).

Hai is being a pusssy. (Winter's coming up, need money for climbing gear, it's that time of the month, blah blah blah)

So...the question is, should Hai (redlude97) cop these wheels?

Get em, Hai. Unless its not a straight trade for his JLine's.

nice wheels indeed.

the ones he got are not that bad either.

if it would be my choice I would stick with the ones he has.

I like those better.

I like fat spokes. Not a big fan of spider web ****.

Yes, he should.

Like Joker, I'm a fan of fat spokes, but I love those wheels. They're gorgeous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of JLines in general, and also the set he's rockin' right now. As far as style, I prefer 5-stars too. Almost all of my last 20 odd sets were 5-spokes or split 5-spokes. Still, some mesh wheels are the sex, and the SSR MS1 and Volk VS-XX are on that short list.

This thread is just to get some more input from others to try and convince Hai to go through with this and get his dream set. So help me convince his ass!

Those look good, but I've heard that SSR's have cracking problems.

I 100% agree with you my friend.

B.Rice and I saw a 5-series w/ gold VS-XX and it was pretty sick. That mug was slammed and tucked too.

I think I saw that in Cap Hill one time. It was a white E60 with a boater behind the wheel. Same one?

I don't know about the boater, never saw the guy, but it was an E60.

wow, i'm important enough to have my own thread
Unless someone steps up and offers to buy my Jlines for a decent amount of money, I don't have the time currently to deal with purchasing and swapping out wheels. The car has been on the backburner for quite some time now, and honestly I could really care less at this point which wheels I'm rocking. Thanks for all the input though guys. Much appreciated. BTW, I prefer silver wheels, my previous set were silver as well, so that wouldn't be anything new

I just really really want to see this set end up with someone local. They're so badass. Might as well be you, since it's your current "dream" set. I just got mine recently, and I couldn't be more satisfied.

How much would you be asking for your JLines?
