So instead of being part of the solution, we should be part of the problem? You won't get caught in the traffic jams if you have snow tires and can navigate the back roads.

I'm just saying, winter tires may not be needed; though it never hurts to have. Hitting the back roads is a great idea to avoid traffic if available.

So, some say the oem z wheels will fit and a couple say no. It seems like the ones who said yes seem to know what they are talking about. I just want to confirm. Oem 17's with no spacer will be fine? Thanks.

a friend of mine had 17s on his 04 z. if the question goes unanswered, i'll see if he still has them and i'll test fit them on my g with brembos.

I don't understand. Why are you asking about those when the ones we mentioned will clear fine and are probably really cheap to get.

But on the above, I'd say no.

These are winter wheels, not a fashion show. Just my .02 here.
