Get Rotas.
Seriously though, if it's just a winter wheel/tire set you want, just get some OEM 17's. Where in WA are you coming to? The west side does not really have "winter" in a traditional, Norman Rockwell sense, and the east side is not like the west side.

Yup, Eastern Washington is f'ing colder that a witches tit. We are temperate here like a rain forest. But it might snow in the low lands next thursday according to the Weather Channel extended forecast.
So you are looking for stockers maybe for a winter setup ? Or you are just rolling through?

Depends on where you live. Here, the snow was decently gone in a day or two on the main streets. But the side streets were covered with snow for well over a week. And it will snow more than one time so might as well keep them on for a few weeks at a shot. It's not like we put a ton of miles on snow tires up here.
AFAIK, OEM 350Z & G35 17's won't clear Brembos on their own. Since they're so tucked, you'd want to run something like 25-30mm spacers front/rear anyways, meaning that would solve the clearance problem.
I thought the oem Z 17s and Coupe 17s were able to clear the oem brembos?
If not, finding a set of Z/G oem 18s to slap winter tires on are easy enough. Plenty of people selling this exact package here an on the G forums.

OEM Z 17's clear brembos easily. OEM G 17's have 1-2mm of clearance, and I recommend a 3mm spacer before using them. BTW, it is not the fact that the snow only stays on the ground a few days of the year, but its if you are willing to risk the possibility of getting caught out on one of those days and doing MORE damage to your vehicle than the cost of a set of dedicated winters. My winter tires wear better than my summer tires anyways, so the there isn't really any added cost other than the initial investment, and you reduce the wear and tear on your expensive summer setup significantly.

They make performance winter tires now such as the dunlop m3, blizzak lm-22, Michelin PA2, which have great colder wet performance and decent dry performance when it is cold out. The only time they get sloppy is when it is over 45 degrees, which isn't often during those months. They even have H speed ratings and go to 130mph. IMO, they perform better than all seasons during the winter months for both dry and wet conditions.
Unless you guys can predict the future, you will have the snows on for a few weeks at a shot.
The thing is snow happens at any time. If you get to work at 8:00am and it starts to snow hard (aka last year), your *** is grass if you don't leave work soon enough to tip toe home on your summers.
Better just to run them for a few weeks or a month until the season is over with

Winter tires won't help you, they can't stop someone else from hitting you. And people in this city don't know how to drive in snow. As soon as the snow begins to fall, the whole city is in panic and a 15min ride turns into a 3 hour ride.
