Mastergrade CF roof caps don't fit that well. Looks ok in pics on black cars, but there are visible gaps in person, and on any car that isn't black.

 

the asuka double hump one in the original post is the one i'm considering... not too keen on the MG one cause it's ridiculously expensive for no real weight loss and I plan on painting the whole car so i'm not really interested in the asthetics of CF

 

im not sure but maybe the one you saw didn't have the little rubber "ditch" liner installed? you talking about the gap between the a-b pillar line and the roof skin right? or what? haven't seen one in person but as reputable as MG is i wouldn't imagine they'd market something that looked retarded

Triple, he's not asking about the G35 roof, the 350z roof and its from Asuka not Mastergrade.

Arch- the MG roof is $475 vs the $600 Asuka. Neither has ANY weight loss as they are ADD-ONS. Seriously dude, Search "Asuka roof cap" and you'll find tons of thread, pictures, opinions in those threads. In all hoenstly, do what ever the heck you want to YOUR car. You say thta My350z opinion is the "only one that matters" but it should be your own opinion that matters. I could take the sweetest looking 350z hood, and some will like it while others hate it. Body kits, hoods, etc are all so subjective to the viewers opinion it would be impossible to find something EVERYONE liked.

Car Nutz is a good choice but bit pricey (totally agree). They have some high end cars. Try Kansai Motorsports, they did a custom wide body Do Luck 350z supercharged, a recent black one, and they have two white ones over there right now. I know cuz one of them is mine. They do fiberglass and whatever else you want. Ask for alan
