Default Team Instant Party Invades A Go Kart Track! (Pacific Grand Prix)

Last Saturday, June 20th at Pacific Raceway in Seattle WA had their grand opening for the new go kart track. Saturdays event had a ribbon-cutting ceremony with a series of exhibitions which included Shifter Karts, Supermoto, and a Drift Demo.

Abbitt Wilkerson was there with his two HD cam camcorders recording Team Instant Party, Gleb Antonov, Walker Wilkerson, and Roland Gallagher. Yoshi Shindo, an up and coming action photographer in the pacific northwest was there to capture the stills.

I thought I'd share this video that Abbitt threw together. The three drivers from Team Instant Party took over the new go kart track for a few hours. Check it!

Looks like fun.

Can someone please explain the whole missing body panel fad?

it's pretty common to take panels off (especially front bumpers) for drifting. some of these cars are multi purpose and have some expensive paint work, and they don't want their bumpers getting annihilated. increased air flow to the ic too omgs!~

they just fall off anyways. from the sheer speed of course, not from crashing...

it's not a fad.

slammed cars running on a track, the bumpers/sides tend to actually hit the pavement, from big enough dips and bumps in the track they simply fly off- also why many of them are held on with zipties. with bolts and nuts they break, but zip ties just snap apart.

typically you show up to the track with everything on, and either take it off before you start or just wait until it happens, and then just keep it on the side until after the event and put it on for the ride home.

He has his license plate tucked behind the IC though. One would assume, safely, that he drove to and from the track looking like that. Amirite?

the green car's front bumper was destroyed a few events ago, he just hasn't gotten a replacement yet.

Their front bumper costs more then your front left wheel. lol jkjk

They prefer not to run the front bumper because they tend to get ripped off. Could you imagine going to track day and losing a $800 front bumper you imported from Japan? I'd be pissed.
