Default I HATE FEDEX, Dupont WA!

So after purchasing an item from a good seller on here, FEDEX delivers it to the wrong house!!!! So now im stuck without my part. As the title states the FEDEX station to last handle it was the location in DUPONT, WA. After further research i realized this isn't the first time it's happened, there were like three others in the year of 2009, i guess they have new workers dropping off packages where ever. I tried calling this branch to get the drivers name so i can figure out which house he droppped it at and get my stuff, but they cant give me that type of information. Im not mad, but it's just frustrating when you rely on others, and they don't come through.

anybody get misdelivered? what happens next?

i know i have to file a claim after they try to retrieve it? but man, this sucks.

i hope that the house that got my stuff gives me a call (i think my number is on the shipping label) or at least tries to drop it off, since it should be in the same area. But i am rellying on human nature and a good heart to do that. Thanks for reading.

while we are griping about our issues in regards to shipped parts, I will needlessly whine here too!

Contacted a vendor (performancepeddler.com), asked if they had their bassani exhaust for the Z in stock, if it would be shipping from their warehouse or from bassani. they told me it would ship from their cali warehouse and is in stock and should only take a few days.

place the order .. no tracking number 5 days later. contact them, find out it's coming from bassani, and they are missing clamps for the system so they cant ship it out until they contact their clamp provider, and will be shipping from bassani directly.

****ers lied to me just to make the sale. blah. saving 50$ isn't worth waiting 2 weeks!

UPDATE, package came through after various phone calls made by me, however i warn others to get a signature delivery to assure it gets delivered to you if the item is of significant value.

Can you define "came through?" Where did it end up being? How did you get it?

Well, i called the main customer service line, they told me that the driver wouldn't get the message about it being misdelivered till the next day. This prompted me to call the last known fedex location that it was at, i spoke to the customer service and explained the situation of the misdelivery and she said to call the customer service line, which i did. 2 hours later, i called back the fedex location to ask for the drivers name, i.d. number, any info, they couldn't do that so they asked me why, i told them the situation again and they got my tracking number. I questioned the procedure as to which driver was going to follow up on it? a new driver or the same driver, etc. 1 hour later i called the customer service department to ask them when do i file a claim? They said wait until Tuesday of next week.

approx one hour later the package is at my front door, it wasn't there before because i would constantly check my front door. Now i don't know if FEDEX delivered it or the person who received it delivered it, no knock on the door, no doorbell chimes, just *POOF* there it is.
