hey guys, I was informed that they are doing a shop opening, it's located on the arlington airstrip at 19132 59th dr. ne, arlington, 98223. 35$ for 3 dyno pulls is pretty smoking as is and should be fun.

I heard they will start dynoing around 3pm. I am not off until 3pm, and I have a wheel swap to do / need to pick up my old exhaust, so I don't think I'll really be able to leave until 6. I'll call them tomorrow to see how late they plan on doing runs and I'll post back here.

anyone want to caravan up if I'm able to go? sorry for the short notice, but I was just informed myself.

 

I'll go just for the hell of it. I wanna see of my random *** exhaust setup did anything. haha

 

LOL was there any difference in sound or notice any gains in performance? I still haven't put mine on yet.

 

Is there any kind of date associated with that?

Can we play on the airstrip?

this is today. I asked about locking down the air strip too, that would be incredibly fun.. didn't sound like a go, but I wasn't talking to the shop folks when I asked.

they have an airplane division and shop, they have to have some pull on closing down that air strip for us ..

 

I am reluctant to dyno because of my 5AT lol. I know I will be disappointed with the #s. I haven't done a whole lot, plenum spacer, pop charger and bassani exhaust. at 35$ it would be too hard to pass up though. they supposedly have a really nice dyno set up with two huge *** fans and a sealed off room.

 

son of a *****. they are dynoing from 12-6pm or so. I wouldn't get there on time.

from 6-8 they are having a pretty big bbq though if you wanted to check out some cars and the shop.

 

im leaving right now to head there. I guess they got 1/4 mile and top speed too

 

I probably won't even be leaving until 6. Waiting on my wrx buddy, since this shop is a subaru specialist, I figure some nice rex/sti's will be there and possibly inspire him.

 

Sounds a lot better, but dont know if i got any gains in performance.

I am going to ask the shop owners about that. I bet they will be asked that several dozen times today. : )

was good times. I was the only non subaru owner there, but when I left I had the title for the highest HP thus far with only like 4 more cars to go. Cool shop, but the tuner told me that the uprev was better than the utec for boosted cars...
