Default Need a pre purchase inspection done..where?

Hey guys...Im driving up from Vancouver,BC tomorrow to Seattle area to look at a 06 Roadster with 74K miles...(Salvage title) anyways..if I like it i want to get a pre inspection done....can anyone help me with this?

Any help would be awesome..if someone can let me know about a shop or a mobile inspection person...i would appreciate it.

And cost as well

I don't recall the cost but take the car over to VTR in Everett. they've been working on my cars for a decade now, they really know their $hit.

Thanks I called them unfortuantely because of labour day weekend they are closed for 3 days.

Any cerified mechanics out there that could meet in Bothell or Everett tomorrow?I am willing to pay a fee for the time and gas money.

I kind of just want someone to do a one over on the car as I am not very mechanically gifted

Isn't there a Z specialist in Everett? Just off the I-5 freeway?

Z sport .. was not thrilled with the misinformation regarding tuning they gave me, but their customer service was pretty good.

Just got back from the Z shop in Everett....dealt with Charles..a great guy..and got some great service...thank god I walked away from this car.

Heres the report.

Scanned PCM fpr fault codes-none present
Hood is from an 03 model
Slight brake pulsation
SRS light is on
Air Conditioner does not work
Horn sounds like one horn asssembly is missing
Oil pressure gaugue pegged and does not move
Engine oil leaking
Transmission fluid leaking
Air filter broken
Coolant mixture is weak
Transmission fluid brown
Battery hold down not fastened properly
Battery corroded
Left license plate bulb burnt
Front brakes 20%
Engine mounts weak
Transmission mount is bent and oil soaked
Rear brakes 40%
Rear tires ok
Front left marginal
Right tire extremely dangerous to drive on.
Do not recommend purchasing vehicle
Engine and transmission have been shoved back from impact.

sweet. I love hearing about people spending 100$ on a pre-purchase inspection and saving themselves a hell of a headache. so many people skip this vital step when purchasing used vehicles!
