I'm in San Jose till Friday around 7pm. I flew up from Denver, CO for some training. But I was wondering if there are any FI Z's in the area that would be gracious enough to give me a ride ?

I still have yet to come across an FI-Z of any sort, I need to feel how fast these cars are
If anyone's up, just post and possibly a meeting place and I can mapquest my way there. Sorry for the short notice, don't expect anything, but wouldn't mind the chance to check out some higher hp Z's
Hell or any Z'ers / G35'ers for that matter
I wanna feel how fast a stock Z is even @ sea level opposed to 5800+ feet above sea level

. All I have to say is, make sure you don't eat right before you get a ride

Tons of thanks goes out to Rob!
He took the time out of his very busy day to give me a ride in 3 AMAZING APS TT cars. If I would have eating food before, I would of **** my pants by the time I left the shop. Great groups of guys, with a great shop, and very high profile cars. I know who I want to buy the APS TT kit from and have them install
The performance is simply amazing, and good god the 350Z is SOOOO fast with the APS kit. My hands still seem to be shaking from all those fun runs. You Californian's are lucky to have a cool shop like that locally

Good thing you took my advice of not eating before your ride
. Hahaha...I felt the same way when I stepped out of the car. Good stuff

Oh btw., I wanted to convey my experience to some of my buds on another forum and here's a little of my recap with my driving experience
1st car
----
Convertible 350z
APS TT kit
*Untuned - straight out of the box install
7psi, 91 octane, dynoed a little shy of 400 rwhp.
When Rob stomped on the gas in this car, it was EVIDENT how much power this car makes. The car simply dropped low to the ground and I was instantly pushed back in my seat. Hearing the engine scream to redline was freakin amazing. The car pulled HARD and the torque was simply amazing. From 3rd gear @ 3,000 rpm. When it was floored the car simply took off like a regular Z was in 2nd gear @ redline. The car also was equipped with 14" stop-tech's all around, and DAMN could that thing stop. Talk about stopping on a dime, I was getting dissoriented with Rob flooring the car to redline in 3rd then stopping to like 0 in 3 feet. The APS stock blow off valve sounds sweet, no big woosh, but enough of a vent to let you know somethings under the hood
2nd car
---
The shop car
'03 blue 350z
APS TT Kit
Tuned @ 7psi 91 octane
420 rwhp & 400rwtq
This car was simply NASTY. When Rob gunned it, the car would leap foward and slam you in the seat. The closer to redline, the farther in the seat you would get. It was simply SICK. This car had 13" stop-tech's all around, and I couldn't tell the difference in stopping power other than the fact that these things could stop from like 100mph to 0 in like 3 feet. It's simply amazing how fast the Z pulls to redline, and how hard you get pushed in the seat. The car simply tucked and rocketed away.
3rd car
---
silver coupe '03 350z
APS TT kit
Tuned @ 8.5psi + JWT cams
440rwhp & 420 rwtq
This car made my damn hands shake. The car literally and seriously made me feel weightless when Rob mashed the gas and ran the sucker thru 1-3rd. Ever run over a hill/dip and you get weightless for a couple seconds depending on your speed? Well that's exactly how I felt, was freakin nuts. If I had eating something, I would have shyat my pants....
----
Overall, all the cars daily drive-ability was not compromised AT ALL. They idled like normal, drove like normal. Under regular loads the car felt stock. But as soon as the gas pedal was pressed, HOLY ****. The turbo's seemed to be hitting full boost ~2800rpm's.
*I may be a little off on the hp numbers, can't remember exactly what Rob said they were running.
