Vertex Kit Delayed
sorry to hear of your troubles james.
at least its in the country tho and not floating on a boat somewhere.
i would go with your plan of picking up the kit and bringing it to the shop yourself. altho make sure you inspect it b4 taking.
if you can't borrow a truck.... uhaul has pick-ups for $19.95.
and you can also rent trucks from lowes as well.
good luck!

Also...Update:
Distributor contacted me & said the check is in the mail so my kit should be on its way pretty soon!

So long as the shop uses the right paint & does it right, they can paint the kit seperately just like Bubble's car. His looks perfect IMO. So check with them & ask if they are blending with that price tag. I'm sure they are since that's the same pricing I got when I first was looking around. Pricing should be around $1K-$1500 for a good paint job on your kit.

they just BS with you. DB only have one element in it. Typical price should run from $1200 to $1500 for whole kit. They will match 100%. Make sure to ask them to use PPG paint.
James, bubble, are you guys asian?
Hahah...I went to go watch that movie with my asian friend..of course I took the role of "kumar."

My Vertex kit is coming in today!!!
Going later this afternoon to check it out & pick-up that bad boy! Now the strange part is, now they are saying my Blitz Wing is delayed after saying they had it already
. They said another 3 weeks but that's how long they said it would take back in March. You think they had it but just sold it to someone else? That's what I'm thinking. At this point, I'm just happy my kit came in. I can deal with the spoiler later but yet...more crap I have to deal with yet again. I'll keep everyone posted as usual.
Thanks for checking in!
