I dont know if it makes you feel any better, but my volks are late as hell also, with no sign of when they will come.

Thanks for all the support everyone! I'm glad to say that I now have my Vertex kit sitting at ZCG so I'm a very happy camper
. Even saw Moodie there who got a chance to take a glimpse of my kit. Man I'm stoked! My wing should be trailing shortly but I'm glad I got most of the parts in so I can start with the body work.
Bubble, I'm also considering Williams Auto Body in San Mateo. He was strongly recommended my Rob at ZCG & they did a lot of their project cars including several of their customer's cars. I've seen some of his work & it's really top quality. You can check them out at http://williamsautobody.com/ . I'm going to start calling around tomorrow so I can get this process underway!

Just had to take some quick shots today. This kit is simply beautiful! Very high quality. I'm glad I went with an authentic kit. Tried to get pics of the hood too but it was stored in a cramp area so I guess I'll take some next time. Hopefully my Blitz Wing will finally come in to finally complete my kit
.
Can't wait to get this thing on!

Just called the shop you recommended that did your kit & the owner quoted me a great price. I'll most likely be going with them for the install. I will be heading off with my kit to their shop sometime today so they can take a look at it. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks!

Well, just got a quote for $1900. This includes prep, paint, & install (with necessary brackets) of my full Vertex kit, JGTC Hood, shaved rear emblem, spoiler install, grill install (for both hood & front bumper), & fix a few deep scratches I have. I have a few dings as well but I'll just have the dent guy take care of those. What do you think? They guarantee a paint match or they'll redo it for at no cost. The thing is, he suggested for me to wait until my spoiler comes in so he can do it all at once but that thing wont' come in for another couple of weeks! Should I just say F'it and do the spoiler & shaved rear emblem later? Not sure if he's still going to charge me the same price though since now he'll have to do it on another day. Hmm? Since I want my kit installed ASAP, I'll see what I can do to have him honor that same price. It'll just be a 2 step process.

Yeah, I was thinking about it all day but I had visions of me waiting for my body kit again & I started feeling sick
Tommy AutoBody? If he quotes you with the spoiler then you can do the rest now and the spoiler later. The crews pretty good at what they are doing and i don't think anyone can beat that price. However, you will have to remind him this:
USE PPG paint since they are specilize in BWM & Benz and the paint might not work for our Z.
BTW, you can ask him to take care the dent for you. Why pay extra for it? he is pretty cool about it. Let me know how it goes. If you hang out there on sat, let me know, i'll stop by.

Well, I'll be dropping off my parts tomorrow at Tommy's Body Shop tomorrow. Yeah, Gia is really cool! When I told him that I wanted all the dings & scratches out, he took a walk around & said no problem. When I asked him how much more would he charge, he said same price! Then when I asked him how much additional to paint the black base panels for the side mirrors, he said he'll throw it in as well for me since it's a small job & not hard to do. I was like "Wow"!!! So far he's impressed me but what boils down to it is if the final result will be top notch. From seeing Bubble's body work, I'm sure they'll do just that. I'll keep everyone posted as usual. According to him, if I drop it off tomorrow, I should get it by no later than next week Saturday. Hmm...maybe I should start a new thread for this?
