Unhappy Vertex Kit Delayed

Okay. As some of you may have already known, I've been waiting on my order of the Full Vertex Bodykit. I ordered it on 03/28 & was said it would take roughly 6-8 weeks (so that should be around mid-late May). Since I'm an anxious ****, I called the shop up today to get a status. To my dismay, apparently their shipment has been delayed which means I won't be able to get it until mid-late June . The good thing is they have my Blitz Wing but I don't want to touch it until the rest of the stuff comes in. My JGTC style hood should also arrive towards the end of this month but it'll have to sit around until the rest of my stuff come in. I just want to have everything painted at the same time. I know some of you are waiting for some OEM parts I'm planning to sell as soon as I get this kit on so I appologize for the delay. Man...waiting sucks ! I just can't wait to put everything together. Sorry, just had to vent.

Sorry to hear about the delay. That is the same kit I am getting. Where did you purchase your kit at?

I got it at Bozz Performance in Union City. They were referred to me by Speed Alliance who is their main distributor & certified vendor for this kit. I don't blame the shop, I know that shipping from overseas can be a b*tch.

hehehe...hey Jame, remember JBT brake? they have 380mm for front and 355mm for rear. Price pretty decent. I can get some sweat deal out of it. Are you interesting in getting them too? if you are, we can buy together and the price will even going down. Much cheaper than rotora and stoptech and you will have rear at 355mm rotor. Choice of 355/380mm front and 355mm rear. Let me know.

Hmm? Tempting...very tempting .

I'll probably pass though since my next project is my engine. I already have the Stoptech Stage 2 Kit which should be good for now & I know those BBK will cost a pretty penny. Thanks for the offer though! As soon as I get my kit installed, I'll be specing out everything I need to prep for the APS TT or ST . Like many, I'm hoping they'll get a CARB # soon. *Wishful Thinking*

I know the JBT's are suppose to be a replica of the GREX BBK but do you actually have performance numbers for them? I'm just a little ify on the performance/reliability factor since I've never really heard of them. I can't even find a site that sells them when searching on Google!?! But I agree...they look absolutely bad a**!!!

I'd choose Stoptechs. Why you ask? Proven performance on the track. I know more people running these on the track than Rotoras. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Rotoras are good brakes as well but I tend to listen to all the track folks & they usually say Stoptechs. But that's just me.

it just for daily drive. I can't track my Z. Someone said Rotora being made in Taiwan or Thailand while Stoptech in the US. Is it true?

Yes. Stoptechs are made in the US but I'm not sure about the Rotoras. BTW...I started a BBK poll just for you bro . Thought it'll be interesting info to know as well.

Yeah, it could've been worse. I'm just anxious as hell to finally get it already. Hopefully there's no more delays *knocks on wood*.

There's a few I have in mind including the shop you went to. All of which are highly referred shops but I'll have to see what kind of pricing they'll give me as well as color matching guarantees.

Do you think you could PM me what you paid for the kit? I am going to order today and tomorow and I don't want to over pay. Right now I have not found anything much better than retail.
