good **** man, my kit came today and it looked like they had thrown the box off the back of the truck =/ I had to refuse it and send it back so now it looks like I'll be waiting another 4 months >:[. Was your kit well packaged? The boz was so thin and nothing but bubble rap I wasn't happy.

 

i'll drop by this sat since another friend of mine will drop off his integra and repaint the whole car to DB color with new bodykit.

 

Sorry to hear that bro. It's a common occurance to have mangled boxes from Japan. I'm really not sure why they just don't package them better. I personally never got to see the box since the shop that I bought it from discarded it & checked the kit prior to me coming over to pick it up. When I picked it up, it was completely wrapped in tons of bubble wrap. When I examined the actual kit, it was in perfect condition. No scratches, cracks, or chips.

 

Sounds good. I won't be around this weekend since I'll be out of town but for sure I'll be there next week since that's when I'm doing the actual install. My kit & hood will be there so make sure they're taking good care of them . Hehehe.

 

Okay. My car is now going to be at the body shop for a little over a week. I'll be picking it up next Saturday. Man, I miss her already but I know she'll look even better the next time I see her.

 

stop by today and saw your kit. Pretty good. The hood, how come there is not vent? Not functional hood?

 

Cool. Yeah, the vents have to be cut out.

 

Well, here's the update folks...

Went to the shop today & found out that my car won't be ready this Saturday as they originally estimated (keep in mind I dropped it off last Thursday). Instead, they said I'll have to wait until next Thursday to get my car! They appologized but told me that they were behind on some of the cars already in the shop so I guess even more waiting for me. To add more headaches, I emailed Bozz today for the status on my Blitz Wing since they told me about a week & a half ago that my wing should come in roughly 3 weeks. Got an email back from them today that said they called Blitz & they told them that they won't have it for me until mid-August!!! WTF?!? I'm about to cancel this order but does anyone know of a place that has this in stock & ready to ship???

 

James, I'm sure you know that when it rains it feels liek it pours. Try to keep pressure on the shop to get the car done asap. I'm sure you've spent a good chunk of hard earned change on it.

Anywho, for the Blitz wing try making a post in both the vendor and private classifieds. I'll keep my eye out on eBay and pm you if I see one. Usually people post wings on ebay with very poor descriptions and they go stupid cheap! I'll do the best I can bro.

Anyways, best of luck and keep us posted. One week (in reality) isn't all that bad b/c your car will literally be show quality.

Thanks Ravi. I really appreciate it! Yeah, I'm a little disappointed at the shop but I understand their situation. I usually give shops a chance. For Bozz, on the other hand...man do they ever lag!!! It was bad enough waiting for the kit & gave them a chance on that but now my spoiler??? Like I mentioned though, I'll look for another vendor first prior to cancelling it. Don't want to shoot myself in the foot. On a good note...I did get my Vertex badge today .

 

Well, just made several calls today & it seems like the Blitz Wing is no where to be found. I even called Blitz USA who also doesn't have it in stock & they said they are not sure when they will recieve their next shipment. So I guess all I can do is wait....yet again . So if you know anyone that has this "in stock & ready to ship", let me know. Thanks for checking in...

BTW...I was thinking of waiting for my spoiler before shaving my rear emblem but since it's unknown when the hell this thing will ever come in, should I just shave my emblem now since I have in the shop? I can live with my stock spoiler for now but I feel the rear hamburger has got to go. Thoughts? TIA

Well, just talked to the shop & they're going to shave it for me . They'll need to paint the hatch so they'll be removing the emblems including the 350Z which I was planning on removing anyway to replace with my Vertex badge sitting at home .
