Default Do you know how much your Z really weighs

I'm going after work to see what the weight of my car is again. Granted I have half a tank of gas, oil might be 1 quart at the most low, windshield washer is probably a 1/4 left, coolant is probably lil low. Brake and power steering are fine. The last time I weighed mine it was 3180 if i recall correctly

So, I am in San Jose. I will be leaving from Infineon Technologies on 1730 N. First Street in San Jose. Cross street is Skyport, around the corner to the North from Zcargarage. Im going at 7pm tonight. There is a weight station about 2 miles from my work. Anyone is welcome. I have a Touring with Aps kit and would love to see other model Z's or the same to get a comparison and finally put to rest "What is the Z's weight" question. Let me know if your going. You can PM if you need to or just reply, better.

3180 for a touring? I always assumed they would be the heavy one out of all the other models. Are you taking it to a public scale? I would be very interested in seeing how much mine weighs. I always guessed it would push 3400 lbs. Interested in what your Z weighed tonight.

I didn't go last night, i had to run and there wasn't anyone else going so I just blew it off. I'm gonna go today tho. But now I'm down to almost a 1/4 tank. But still a full tank of gas should way around 105lbs if not a lil more. Since water weighs 7lbs per gallon. What ever it weighs tonight I'll add 80lbs to it for its true wet weight.

probably the sound system, type of transmission (I would guess) Nav if you have it.

I am going to weigh mine when I have a chance. there must be info on the factory weights, but I'm too lazy to look for it. I want to know how much my cars weighs just as it would weigh when I run it at the drags. (nothing removed and full of all kinds of crap) My wheels weigh 20#, so I lost some weight there.

Maybe its that hefty *** Turbo system your running Tim, I could take it from you though, it would lighten you right up!

I usually go by the weights the dealer gives on the website, I wouldnt mind taking mine to a scale and really seeing what it weighs also. My base stock should weigh 3188. My wheels might have added a few more pounds per wheels, but not that I notice. I took my rear windsheild wiper off, along with the motor, shaved at least 3-4 pounds right thuurr

Base Enth perf tour track 35th
Manual transmission 3,188 3,197 3,217 3,247 3,225 3,299
Automatic transmission N/A 3,210 N/A 3,239 N/A 3,291
Weight distribution 53/47 53/47 53/47 53/47 53/47 53/47

I copied this off the website for nissanmotors.com.
