I've probably logged on over 200,000 miles of personal driving in my
lifetime and has never had to deal with roadkill. Driving back
from Vegas through Bakersfield doing about 85 . . . the stupid raccoon had
no chance. It cleanly took off 20% of my bumper AND
the wiper reserve tank. At least I didn't swerve and spin out or
hit a deer either.



Please let me know if there is a good shop around San Mateo area. I know Michelle knows one but haven't heard back from her. Last Nov in my six car pileup taken to Cooks . . . they suckass.

I need to drop her off today b/c I'm flying out to NY tomorrow morning. Thanks

I got rear-ended when my Z was 4 months old and then got a terrible paint job that was done over 4 times!

man the same thing happened to me....cracked the driver side of the bumper clean off! i feel your pain.

 

i'd go and beat the crap out of that racoon a bit more if that happened...

 

Ouch!! Poor raccoon...poor Z too Hope you can find a shop and get it back to pre-raccoon status soon.

sorry about your car, but not the raccoon. they used to be my #1 predator with my birds until I put up an electric fence. I did my part keeping them off the roads and the planet. there used to be a raccoon cemetary out in my back 40.

How bad is the damage? Is it just the bumper and reservoir? If so, it might be cheaper in the long run for you to just fix it yourself.

 

Racoon Stew, they taste like rabbit kinda...

 

They have a red look after cooked and taste like rattlesnake.
