Default Oct 22nd Doc Wong

Is anyone going to Doc Wong's Driving Clinic? I went last month and I was the only Z there. It's pretty cool, the roads are fantasic. There were a few WRX "cheater cars," as Doc Wong puts it, a Ferarri, Corvette, Minis, and Miatas...I was hoping this month, some more Z's could make it. Basicly its like an hour classroom discussion and the rest of the day is spent in the back roads of santa cruz mountains. I'm talking about backroads backroads like 1 and a half lane roads..... pretty cool.

I still need to make it out to one of these, I hear they're great.

Alas, I will be at the newly-lengthened Reno-Fernley Raceway with TEAM Racing that Saturday. They're having a 2 day event with lots of open spots, you're sure to get tons of track time. I've run with TEAM before and they put on a good event.

Check it out: http://www.team-racing.org/

Damn, this sounds fun, I'd love to go. It would suck for me though because I'm getting crazy 3rd gear grind and will have to skip 3rd gear altogether.

Are these things free ?

All I can say is "Ouch!" Well, not me, I got through the turn just fine but the four wheel drive Porsche 911 behind me got a bit out of shape and it's rear quarter ended up resting on a tree. Sad

The rest of the drive was great.
