It'll probably be up in a week...I'm just finishing downloading the video to my PC and then it takes almost a day to upload to google.videos b/c all the files will be around 20 GB, then they (google) have to watch all of it to ensure that it's not something bad (pornography, language....)

I'll post the links here ASAP. Did anyone take pics?

Here's the vid...it's basically the videos spliced together. The last session didn't get recorded b/c my camera battery ran out - sorry - that the was best session b/c at one point we had 3 or 4 Z's in a row.

Thanks for posting it Peter! I wish I had more cameo's (I only show up 1 hour 10 minutes into the vid). I would have loved to see which turns I need to work on. Unfortunately, I think the last session was the one where you and I were in good proximity of each other. I can't believe I actually viewed the whole thing (in a couple sittings). It was like reliving another fantastic day on the track.

wow....I haven't had time to watch all of it yet. I couldn't believe that I forgot to witch batteries before the last run - I was so mad when I realized that I didn't get any of the session...I stayed behind Z's so that I'd have video of it - guess that means we'll all have to go out again!

It was cool seeing you in the "zone" 28 minutes into the video. You were knocking off some great laps, not to mention pulling off a couple good slides.

What are you using to take vids? A bullet camera? I'd like a set up like that, but I don't know where to get it or how much it will cost me. Is there a system out there for less than $250?

This time I just had my Sony camcorder (uses miniDV tapes) on a simple headrest mount from ebay. Before I had used a my companies inspection camera (it's a small pin hole type camera mounted within a 1/2 dome) mounted onto the front tow hook and fed the video to my camcorder that was stored within the passenger storage compartment.

I'm still looking at different cameras (similar to my companies or a liptstick style unit) and have found a few digital recorders that might work...I hear that it;s bad to use a camcorder b/c the vibration will eventually ruin the expensive portion which writes to the tape...

I've looked into:
http://www.chasecam.com/recorders/pdr.htm
or a Archos 100GB (this is more expensive, but if the recording quality is good, it'll be around the same cost)

Did you notice how slow I was driving in the rain; my tires only have the 4 grooves left and it felt like every turn I was sliding either the front or rear...

I did notice how slow you drove in the rain. I think everyone else slowed down to a crawl too, including myself. It's amazing how little traction there is when it's wet. I had memorable moments at exiting T5a and T12.
