I might take it if he doesn't go. I haven't signed up yet because we've had rain non-stop. And I don't want to run stickies in the rain again.

Where are you all staying near the track.

I'll have tools for it. I might drive up on my track pads, but either way, I'll be sure to bring all the tools needed.

**I'd say bring an extra set of pads (Front and rear)...if you're going to buy a set, buy it now and bring it just in case. (My rear brake pads had less than 5,000 miles [slow & easy driving] on them at my 1st track event with the Z, and I burnt through them by the end of the day...metal on metal is bad for the ears and wallet)

*Let's just pray that the rain stops!!

Suggestions? I was looking at the RV Park in Orland but they charge for every guest and only allow 2 extra cars etc.... So, I'll call but, think it is out. Is that place too far anyways? I guess the fall back is the parking lot of Walmart closeby.

I'd like to spend the day Saturday at the RV Park/Campground if it is nice and then leave for the track early Sunday AM. We could set up a poker game / party at the campsite. Fire the whole deal ....

I'm in Livermore close to Granada Shopping Center. PM me for details.

The parking lot at the Best Western usually has plenty of space (but it doesn't have the electrical/water hook-ups for RVs)...I think most of us are staying there.

What time are you guys thinking of driving up on Saturday?

I have a gen, so no real need for power. Just crank it up, turn on the air compressor for a few minutes. If I need microwave, I just turn it on for a few minutes as well. 12V gets me through the night no problem. Shower water heated by propane. So, I'm good anywhere except during the summer months
I like to have the electricity for the A/C. Not a problem this time of year.
Maybe too much info .... but thought you guys might want to know.

Now here's an idea: Poker at one of the rooms at Best Western or Motorhome.

Then we just use Paddock area at the track with the Motorhome for those that want a quick rest, soda, air, tools, tire changes etc...

I also hope it doesn't rain. Who knows the Sun God personally? Maybe we should start praying now.

Track is due west of Willows by about 5 miles. Just take 162 west and you'll run right by the track.

There are RV hookups at the track. Check if you can park there the night before. There is also a truck parking lot right behind the amerihost hotel, which is next to the best western.
Have fun guys.

I'll be at infineon on the 29th and 30th if anyone wants to go. It's only $150 with NASA. They're just very crowded and you only get 4 session.. And there are a lot of wrecks... but I'll be there

If we book in a group at Best Western, we might get 4 rooms at $65 each.

Not sure what crackerjack's been talking about. I'll definitely be at this event. The car is ready to go and I made my hotel reservations over a month ago.

Jason, let me know if you think you can make this event. If not, maybe one of the other guys could take the room.

Default This is just no good !!!

Holy smokes - Just got really bad news. The new job I just started has a website roll out in Europe on Monday which for me means Sunday the 16th is a working day. This really is no good.

Now I know why the last two Managers in the last two months found other jobs....

Sorry guys, I have no choice. I will not be able to make it.
I haven't been working for the last 15 months and need the dough
so, I'll be working my Easter Sunday instead of joining you this time.
