Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Video trailer which has been showing in Movie theatres called " The Run"?
I haven't seen it but friends of mine have and say it's quite intense. Supposedly Nissan dealers should have the DVD, but my dealer, Freeman Nissan-Santa Rosa, doesn't have a clue. Any suggestions

I ordered my Z-Silverstone Enthusiast-6spd-back in March'02 I delt with Marty Vendrick, the sales manager. It was delivered Sept. 30 Vin#643. He's not aware of the video, but was checking into it. I'd sure like to get a copy.

Ordered mine Jan. '02 and finally picked it up Oct. 1. Marty tried hard to get me to come in on 9/30.

Yes, I received the book with the limited edition brochure.
I've been receiving things for over a year now, including the deck of cards, an earlier CD, pamphlets, etc. I hope you're right about pre orders receiving the DVD. It would be a nice addition.

Are you a member of ZONC? I joined them when it was called:
240Z owners of Northern California, back in 1972. I just sold my 240 to a car collector in Novato, after babying it for 30 years.
It was a 1972, coincidently bought at the same dealership, although then it was called Torvick Datsun.

I didn't know about ZONC until NNA held the Blackhawk presentation last year. I haven't joined. Most gatherings always seem so far away or are just at the wrong time.

Sounds like you've been a faithful Z owner. Your 240 must have been cherry. Sorry to see it go?

I've had a '74 260Z and a '90 300ZX. After I sold the last one in '99 I have gone through a couple of replacements, '00 Audi S4 and a '97 Jag XK8, neither one really gave me the enjoyment of my 300ZX. When I started reading about the Z concept it piqued my interest and I had to have one. First one at Freeman to place an order but sure wasn't the first to get it. I think I drove Marty crazy.

I have it!!! It's very nice (exp. if you have a lemains track like me) My wife got it for Val. days.... she knows me too well. She said she ordered it from Z.com and they said they would be on back order till March, but mine arrived. 2-12-03.

The video Run is pretty intense but anyways u can get the video on this website. When you first enter My350Z.com jus click on the black 350Z on the homepage and scroll down. There u will see a section speaking about the video and there is your answer.

The version you see posted on here (and on KaZaa) is the short 1-2 min. version that is really only the "trailer" for the actual video of "The Run". The full 6-7 min. DVD version has options that allow you to select several different camera angles to watch as the LaMans Z streaks through Prague.

If you were a pre-orderer, you are supposed to get a free copy of the DVD from Nissan. I think VQRacer posted that Nissan will ship this on or about 3-24-03. It has also been available at auto shows recently.

However you manage to get a copy of "The Run," it's worth it.

The race through Prague is exciting enough, but there also is a considerable amount of footage from other vantage points, including angle selection of the driver shifting as he wends his way through the narrow cobble-stone streets. These different angles, together with several short features, expand the original seven-minute run from the river up to Prague Castle to almost an hour of footage.

I am even more impressed with the driver of the photo chase car, who managed to keep up with the Le Mans.
