Seattle bound!
Just wanted to say good-bye. Today's my last day at work , and I'll be moving all my stuff up to Seattle in less than 2 weeks; I got a great offer from Boeing for a mechanical engineering position! It was great meeting a lot of you guys...I'll be jealous of all the sunny days you'll be enjoying - looks like I'll have to buy rain tires!

Washington groups come to thunderhill
CFRA has a group come down and lion us from Washington. They say it is a 10 hour drive. We do this in early April.

I just moved from Seattle after 15 years. Enjoy the no state income tax, girls with hairy armpits, and living in the country. Given your profession, you should really enjoy working for Boeing. Great company for people with skills in high demand. Seriously though, I'm still in shock how different the Bay area is from Seattle. People use turn signals in Washington and it's free to go over a bridge!
Anyways, best wishes to you and let me know if you need any insider tips on the great NW.
