Let's see more Z's and G's out there before it gets too hot!

I will be taking video of all the runs.

I will also be debuting my 801rwhp 350z

So show up to see it rock the strip!

Watch fowlman blow the doors off Alvins ride. I weighed my Z. With me in it and stripped down for racing it comes in at a very fat 3500 lbs. I will still make him cry like a girl.

I finally weighed my car a week ago and with spare etc out, 1/8 tank gas, race ready and me in it ,it is 3515 lbs. it's a damn pig.

Bruce,
That makes sense, as the gears are a direct multiplier. Good luck tomorrow, I'll catch you guys another Wednesday...

Walt,
Did you ever install that new gasket and coolant valve? Here's something else you should add .

No I haven't put it in yet. Have you seen any dyno results on that part? Lets see how the DR's do. They are about an inch or more shorter than the tires I had on, so there will be some gear ratio changes. I'll find out tonight if any of this has done any good.

Here's what Motordyne states:

The Motordyne MREV+ lower collector! A universal stealth mod for use on any 350Z, G35, M35 and FX 35. When used with or without a spacer or aftermarket plenum, this modified lower collector will make substantial power gains. Multiple independent test show when used with a 5/16" spacer on the REVUP engine, the combination will add at least 15+ HP and 18+ TQ in the upper midrange. Many independent REVUP tests have dynod in excess of 20HP and 30 TQ in the upper midrange and with high RPM peak power increased by 3-5 HP.

The Motordyne MREV high-torque plenum mod designed specifically for the VQ "REVUP" engine. This is the engine in all 2005 MT G35's and Track/Anniversary edition 350Z's and all 2006 MT 350Z's and G35's. In addition to a throatier growl, tests show MREV adds 15+ HP and 19+ TQ at 4500 RPM. Although the peak HP is typically reduced by 2.5 HP the power band is greatly expanded. MREV is quite possibly the most effective NA engine modification available for the VQ REVUP engine.

On the road course or drag strip this lower collector adds substantial HP and TQ. No other normally aspirated VQ modification provides as much gains as MREV+!

Note: A core exchange rebate is available for those of you with non-REVUP lower collectors.

That's kind of ironic that you mentioned that Bill. Chris (hypersprite) and I installed the lower collectors yesterday.

Hey Alvin: Post up a link to the videos!!!

What are your impressions of the collectors, and did you install it with the spacers as well?

he was in Comp Rod because of his tires, but he made at least two runs of mid 14's so it wasn't an accident. It just didn't go. looked good though. It looked like a drift car to me, but I don't think it has enough to do that either.

slip light kept coming on driving over there until I turned off TC. I still need some practice with these tires.
