jondimellow- Is that mainly a pool hall? I'm not really into "clubbing" but I love to shoot pool, and a buddy of mine lives down that way. We keep meaning to get together, drink a few and shoot some pool... Might have to try that place...

Not a pool hall, but a few pool tables. It's actually a restaurant that turns into an imitation night club at night. The pool tables stay open. If you get there earlier or on a weeknight, there is no DJ, so it's more relaxed. If you go Th/F/Sa night, be prepared for drinks spilled on you, loud ghetto music, and money-sniffing Shallo Alto girls. If you get one of the pool tables off to the side, the people won't be in your way. The upstairs area there is pretty chill - no pool up there though. There used to be darts, but that may be gone now...

Last I was at Qs, and this is a while back, it was very ghetto. I actually thought they closed down?

Thanks for the recommendations but I'm actually looking for a "club" club type, not a lounge or pool hall. Only place I can think of is City Nights in SF but I think they tossed out the pool tables when they did the remodelling.

if u wanna shoot pool in palo alto, go too antonio's nut house off of california st. the nut house is the type of bar where they give u all the free peanuts u want and u can throw them on the ground. they have like 3 or 4 pool tables, darts, and fooze ball. only go u blue chaulk if u are in a real clubbin mood, my favorite bar in palo alto is f and A's..... im actually going tonite. late.

Oh man, $hitty Nights!

I would chime in on more clubs, but looks like you guys are in the South Bay (I'm in Oakland/SF, don't know my clubs down there).

Actually SF clubs are fine too. I'm just looking for a club that has billiards as well coz some of the people that are going don't really dance..
