Last year there were few Z guys joined this drive, I am hoping to see some of Z guys come out again this year. Because of lack of parking spaces at various restaurants in Bodega Bay? We are planing on have a early lunch before we head out for the drive.

We will be meeting up at Cheesecake Factory in Corte Madera at 10AM, I planed for lunch at 10:30AM, but the actual time will be depends on the availability of table? they open at 10AM on Sundays so whoever gets there first, can you please get/hold a table for us?. When you sign up? Please indicate how many guests for lunch and please show up on or before 10:30AM, If you aren’t feeling like to get up that early or do not want to join us for lunch? You can show up around 12PM, I planed to leave for the drive at 12:30PM.

The exact drive route will be send to you via PM some time over the weekend and will have print outs for you at meet, its same route as we took last year so some of you will be familiar with it, only couple of turns to keep eye on, other wise just follow the sign, one is few miles into the drive and other is at end of the drive, the length of drive is about 65 miles with some nice twisty, there will be one short pit stop to regroup, the road is only two lanes with lil or no passing room along the way, so if you do get caught behind slow traffic? be safe and try not to passing the slower cars as there are many many blind curves, the drive will be ending at Spud Point Marina which is on west side of the bay.

i went last year and it was a blast! if the weekend is free i am down to go...but got to wait and see if a i am free still

 

i wouldn't mind going to this, just have to see what i'm doing.

 

There 6 cars signed up so far over at G35driver, there 4 more ppl who voted for this date but havent sign up yet, of course there are always few other "maybes", "if this or that".... , If you three come? that will be three more. , The sections where they were working on Hwy1 last year's meet? is all done, nicely paved now, so we dont have worry about the pot-holes or big dips.

Dont you want to be special to be only 350Z there? at least this year you know where we meet up, you dont have to waiting for us at some turn out this time around.

 

Are other cars welcomed? I used to have a Z and a G, but driving something else now. I was thinking of going on the drive with you guys then stopping by Hog Island for some oysters, if you guys are going on that route.

 

I would have to say YES, cus I dont have G nor Z any more either...

You are more than welcom to tag along if you like, the Hog Island its on our way, I would love to stop there for lunch, but parking is too limited for a group around there.

 

Cool... but I think I'm still tentitive until next week, have to see if my friend wants to go.

HUH? ...Maybe it wasnt clear before, but this was the date ppl voted for(G35 ppl, that is), besides by moving the date isnt going to help with turn outs from 350Z side, look at other meet pop up just few days ago at same day, how many are going to that? I guess they rather stay close to town and park their cars than do a nice twisty drive.

 

I might go. Not sure where the meeting place is.

 

Or maybe the Z guys don't want to follow a rusted out 35 year old, 20 MPH smoking RV for endless miles of double yellow? Those G35 guys must drive like old ladies

I think the other dude is right, the traffic will be a joke. I did it last year and it moved along at a good clip but I'm pretty sure it wasn't on a 3 day weekend.
