i don't think i'll be drifting with the 19's unless i can find some used 235/35's for super cheap. i have a set of z wheels and some boss 338's for drift spares.
Ive been thinking about selling my stock HR wheels for a set of those BOSS wheels for drift spares...

Hey btw, did you ever document your Hyd Ebrake install? Im curiuos to know how you mounted everything under the stereo and behind the shifter area...

Im debating getting one in the near future, i already have one (ksport style but a different company). But i got that for my 510 and i dont have an ebrake at all on that car so i dont think ill be using it on the z...

I wish there was a way to get my Z to 450ish HP without doing an engine swap.

yes, the person that painted them white never took off all the gold underneath and then used heavy paint... like house paint... so it wont just peel off and hardly even bubbles... otherwise just got my job and been doing a lot of work for friends so i can pay my bills... sad times..

TT kits have been up there around 400 horse...

IMHO anything over 400 hp is more trouble than its worth even if it was built...specially if your planning on having a reliable car...i think 400 hp is more than enough on a Z unless you wana constantly be working on it and fixing crap lol

i'd trade you my pair for some hr's 18x9.5 -4 is a bit more aggressive than i want to run.

didn't document it. basically did the same as o.g. did in his write up, but routed the lines through the firewall and mounted the ebrake further forward. i just suggest following o.g.'s guide.

Recall on 2011-2012 G37 Coupe and 370Z
Nissan has issued a recall on 1,788 vehicles of certain 2011-12 model year G37 Coupes and 2011 370Zs manufactured between July 2, 2011 and August 29, 2011. A programming error in the power window switch can cause the auto-reverse to stop working. If a body part is trapped in a closing window, the switch may not react fast enough, resulting in a "pinch injury." Dealers will replace the switch for free under the recall, and customer notifications will begin to roll out November 28, 2011. If you're concerned about your car though, you can contact your local Infiniti or Nissan dealer to have a recall check done.

lol good luck running your car with your current ride height! lol

If there was one thing that i hated about the RMT setup on my maxima was the sacrafice in ground clearance that you had to make...it kinda sucked...

Never mind the crazy oil lines you have to setup back and fourth..although i heard they now make Oil less turbos which would make things SOOoooOOO much nicer...

Why did you mount yours farther up? I just liked how you hid the slave under the shifter trim and stuff...it looked legit! Was your way a bit more uncomfortable to use than what you expected?

As for the spares, was the offset too agressive (ie had to run more camber than you wanted)?

because i completely wanted to hide it, but it ended up requiring me to cut the trim a ton and mount the air controls back a bit, which was kinda sketchy. wasn't worth the hassle.

the 338's were great on the z, but on the q they'd be too much.

Well as an update : I got all the bolts on the bell housing off the tranny, driveshaft is ready to drop. I just have to drain the tranny, disconnect the shifter linkage and take off the tranny xmember. My friend let me borrow his tranny jack but im still looking for a second set of hands to spot me while i drop the tranny...i dont want to attempt to do it alone, the tranny is pretty beast lol...

Anyone down to give me a hand?

95% of the work is already done to get this thing down...
