It was a fun run!! Perfect road condition. All dry, no fog. 100% visability. Well, as far as the high beam'll show at least...

Yuichi and Rossel, thanks for showing up!! You guys should have continue with us. It didn't take that long to go through to 280. I think it actually took longer on 280 to get back. I wanted to come back the same way we came but my bro's gf was feeling pretty car sick already.
Tbb, nice to meet you and you have a sweet car. Hope you get that oil thing fixed. You should come out to our next drive/meet. It's always pretty cool to check out other types of cars!!

Ok, in two weeks, I'm gonna go down the backside to Santa Cruz. Who's gonna joing me!!

Yeah nice run guys, sorry i didnt go with you guys for the longer trip.

-ttb - nice meeting you. Hopefully there was no damage to your car.

Now i have to clean my car. Havent done it for the longest and plus the runs through Mt. Diablo and HWY 9, my baby needs some pampering.

tbb, sorry about that... was trying to kill 2 birds with one stone... you know star gazing and midnight run..
It didn't work too well either way... couldn't drive as freely as I would like and didn't spend too much QT with the girls... hahah

Next run will be driver only...

Speaking of Initial D ... the whole reason I got turned on to it was because the hero's car was basically what I learned to drive on -- a 1985 Corolla SR5 (AE86). Even confirmed it with my old man, who, by the way, drove it into a fire hydrant (poor guy was oveworked).

Those Corolla are hard to come by in the Bay Area now...

failsaf3: next weekend... not sure if it's gonna be Fri or Sat.

I'm down for either Friday (tonight) or Saturday. Should probably start a new thread if this is a go.

I was originally thinking about doing it every other week so my next one was for next weekend actually. But seem like people want to drive so, I'm game for tonight if the weather clears up a little. Right now it looks like it's gonna rain. It's fun to drive in the fog when the road is dry but I don't like the odds of driving in the rain with heavy fog at night... one too many variables...
