California Tint (off Camden and Bascom) will do it all for $295, but you have to leave the car with them for a day. Lifetime guarantee.

I don't know if this would be any useful, but anything helps.

In the Sacramento area, I would recommend a place called:

Mr. Tint (corner of Fruitridge Rd. & Power Inn)

Eventhough, I haven't tinted my car, I have recommended it to many of my friends, co-workers, and colleagues. All of them came out with smile on their faces.

I had my previous car done there and my parents car done also.

Lifetime warranty. There rates are usually around 100 - 150 for regular cars. Not sure about the Z.

So wait, out of curiosity, how much tint is "legal" in California? (As in, cops won't pull you over for it.)

I think it's 70% visability for the front sides. I read the windows are already 93% so you could probably only do 77% and not have to worry.

I plan to just have some decent contrast and go with 50% or so on the front sides, and 5% on the small sides. Maybe 20% back.

Default Great Window Tinting

If you are in the Livermore area or willing to go a little out of your way (it's worth it) go to "Rocky Mountain Window Tint" on 1st street (In business complex next to Big O Tires). The owners name is "Matt Britton" and he has been tinting for 15 years. He does awesome work and is really reasonable. He has done 6 of my cars and tinted windows for at least 15 friends without a single complaint.

Default Tint Cost and %

I have a Roadster so..........there are only 3 small windows to do including the tiny rear window. I had them tinted with 50% tint because there isn't much light coming into the interior already and any more tint than 50% would make it way too dark. I paid $130.00 for all 3 windows. And as usual with Matt's work, they look AWESOME!!!!!

Thanks for the link, man.

I musta been outta the loop... I remember when no front tints were allowed in CA. Glad to see that things have changed.
