^^^ Well, its all Sport Clubs and below so you wouldnt be able to go to the Super Sport or Ultra Sport Clubs; not sure which, if any, of those are near Fremont.

At $300 for two years it's still a really good though since most clubs, to my knowledge, are "Sport" or "Active" clubs which you'd have access to.

Now I have been out of this for quite some time. What do you guys think is preferable? Something with more cardio or weights. Remember my girl will also be joining as well to both get in shape.. Obviously me more than her.

To lose weight and tone you should probably do lots of cardio and light weights for high reps.

Find something that is balanced. You want to do cardio but weights also help in burning fat. When you lift weights your body continues to burn calories as the muscles repair themselves. IMHO even if the gym had 50 cardio stations and 50 weight stations, its all about what time you go workout. If you go between 4pm-7pm chances are it will be crowded.

not really people switch off very often. more like 6'clock rush hour. thats when everything is full. i go at 4pm and its decently fine. the more muscle you have the faster you burn fat. imo do it like this. set days for diffrent parts of your body and after the workout just walk fast at 3.5-4.0 speed on the running machine for 40 minutes. walking fast>running for weight loss.

its great dude. that one is open 24/7 so you can go whenever. definantly go for the costco deal since it is a all-club. if you want to check it out you can get a 2 week membership online at the website or just walk in for a 1 week trial.

Not at Fitness 2000 as compared to Bally's near Decoto, which is always crowded starting 5pm.
