I emailed the organizers. There is a beginner group with instructors, you can sign up.

That site is blocked at my work, so I wasn't sure if there was sign-up info included. Email Peggy Hale - she'll send you the application paper. It's not as cheap as the latest NCRC events, but there are only three run groups instead of five, and there are 20 cars per group max. It's very worth it (I think it's $180). PLUS, it's likely all Nissans.

Tell her that you're the guy I emailed her about: peggy_hale_510 at yahoo dot com.

Better see you there! If anyone else is interested, just email Peggy for the application packet. This is a really fun group to track with.

True, it certainly may rain. I just run my street tires in the rain myself.

Oh man my stomach started aching again watching that. The video doesnt really show how fast the car stops and accelerates. Or how fast you are taking some of those turns.

Is it me or does it seem the camera kind of moves with the turns?

i guess if it rains, i can always bring the Z. Got the RE-01Rs and i those are great in the rain for high performance street tires.
