Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you've already filed a report at Fremont PD. Any chance for cameras or witnesses around the complex?

@Cali-darkness: Right off Mowry. I live on Blacow near Lucky supermarket. Suppose to be a pretty good area. -_-

@mcarther101: hehe...you remembered. Not until I have a garage to park my car...my factory wheels are stolen. I can't imagine what would happen to the advan ones.

I just can't believe it.... I don't think I live in the ghetto.....

So long as you put a nice set of wheel locks on you shouldn't have to worry about it. Sucks to hear that happened though. Hopefully the insurance will give you $300 per tire and $1000 per rim... if they do, $2600 is enough for a set of rims! lol

It is a good area...till now.

Yep, time to get good set of wheel locks and alarm. I hope you can work it out with your insurance.
Kinda think of it, could've been worse (dents, scratches, one side fell down and lying on its rotors).

Fremont went down hill when apartment buildings around here started to accept low income housing assistance (section 8). Last year we voted to do away with it, hopefully things will start going back to normal.

Insurance will cash you out, get something nice and good locks.

Yea...insurance will cover it. Sucks to not have my car for a few days tho....so apt accepts low income housing assistance now? No wonder...I've noticed a difference in the quality of the community.

I know one - southeast corner of Fremont Blvd and Stevenson.

Wow, sorry to hear of your loss. Hopefully you find them!
Fremont is a relatively nice area but I can imagine it turning a little ghetto in the future, especially with the warm springs bart extension (why!). Hopefully it won't get too bad though. We'll see.

Damn I hate seeing this happen to people! I guess I got lucky with my cars when I lived in Campbell.

I have the usual keyed locks on my wheels but they are very easy to defeat if you know the trick.

If I were more paranoid, I'd look at a set of these.

That's a lousy situation. And they used a planter? Was there any damage there? Our cars have been broken into twice in the past few years. I despise thieves.

@SJtrackz: Omg i am so sorry! Did you have custom rims? Did your insurance pay for those?

@Scotts: I don't know if there's any damage to the underbody yet...it is in the shop right now. They suppose to call me today and let me know what is up.

@chicagozer: Thanks for the suggestion! Those look cool...I ready ordered the regular locks, but i will look into those.

Sign...getting a rental car now. Thinking about moving somewhere else...my apt used to be a nice place. Now it is totally ghetto. Some trash moved in next door, heard her talking on the phone last night about how some guy od'ed in her apt in front of her 3 year old daughter...wtf.
