My gas light turned on... I guess 1/4 tank wasn't enough for the last session chasing down the Porsche. lol

 

I wish I went out for a session with you two - the vids are absolutely awesome. Any chance you can upload the one when I borrowed it from you (the rest from the drag race vid)? Even if you don't spend time editing it - I'm just itching to see the rest of the footage!

The video editing was remarkable. What camera are you using?

 

They're all GoPro HDs, though I'd like James to post the editing software he is using (I know you told me at the autox Sunday, but I've forgotten).

Finally have time to upload the video after finished moving to a new house and the car show stuffs. Video quality is not that good compared to James HD and a lot of wind noise, but hey, this is in-car video. HAHAHA.

Anyway, it was a very very fun session! At the end, there are 4 Z (Me, Scott, Rob and Alvin) + 1 supercharged G!

Scott and Rob switched cars and my rear tires are gone with steel wires hanging out, but we were chasing around and pack together just to have fun. It was a blast!!

BTW, was this your first event on those tires? They should last 3-4 events anyway. Let's talk - I will get that tire thing handled.

Basic bolt-ons (~260rwhp), 180# lightened with the roll bar, and Koni-based True Choice Phase 4 DA coilovers.

I have used the tires at thunderhill, and Laguna Seca is my 2nd event on this tires. These tires are awesome, but just worn out quicker than I thought.

 

wow very nice! how did you get rid of all that weight?! i'd love my Z to go on a diet. i need some better tires before i get out but hell i might try anyways with my current setup just to learn the lines and track

You shouldn't wait for any reason besides safety maintenance (which includes tires with life left in them). The rear is gutted but has a roll bar, light battery, lighter pulleys, lighter clutch/FW, no wipers or wiper motors, no washer fluid, real CF hood, no carpet, single-side MD race exhaust, test pipes, no A/C. It all adds up.
