What was your time? There was a wide range of times for this particular configuration, but seat time will ultimately help.

For the one in Marina, is the Morning run for beginner? I look in Youtube video, some of the track looks difficult, some other looks very wide and easy.

No, you can run morning of afternoon. Just come with me on the 6th and you'll get the gist. You walk the track beforehand, so you'll know what to expect.

Duel at DeAnza was a good time, with a good showing of Zs (and G)! The next NorCal UFO event is on Sunday, June 6th. Hope some of you can make it out!

Sweet! You're driving, also? If you're not driving, you could show up about 9am.

Remember - you can't walk onto the "hot" area (anything interior of the cones / concrete area) for pictures thanks to a girl a few events back that didn't listen to the rules. She was out there without a spotter, and the organizer was out for her run and got too close to her for comfort.

question, whats the difference between the morning and afternoon ones? my friends keep going to the morning ones and that means I gotta get up at 4am so if theirs no difference I might just go to the afternoon one on Sunday.

If you're not competing in the points series (or if you don't care to get a fair comparison of your car versus others in the class your car is in), it doesn't matter. You end up running as a "fun run" and not in any of the points classifications. The timing for the classes changes each event to keep it all fair. Early in the year I was in the first run groups, then I went to the last run groups and slowly have moved toward the first run groups. You have to attend one of the driver's meetings though. The morning one is always about 8am, but depending on how many cars show up for the morning groups the timing of the afternoon meeting moves. If you want to run in the afternoon, best bet is to show up about noon, though you may end up waiting until 1:30 or 2 in my experience, but there's no good way to tell. I've gone to all the events this year (7?), and the afternoon meeting has ranged from 12:30-2:30.

Here is how it's approximately laid out for Sunday, Anthony and I run in OSP:

you said you run in the fun runs, isnt the fun runs $1 a lap instead of $35 or what? or is it the same exact thing as running in the morning and im overthinking it?

Right.

Well, you're sort of correct. If there is enough time at the end, they will do fun runs for $1/lap, but on the scoring sheets for those that run out of group, it is simply considered a fun run, and you can run whenever assuming there is room. The timing details for the $1/lap fun runs aren't kept or reported, so all the fun runs you see on this sheet are people like you who just want to have some fun but not compete for the points (some may have been in the morning, some in the afternoon, but all were $35/4 runs):
