NorCal Autocross
I've only been to SCCA, comments are good natured but insightful. I've only really spun at candlestick fighting gravely corners. I do need an instructor and a lot of seat time. Car is way too fast for me at this point. I was making progress till I messed with the suspension and diff, now its square one.
What suspension and diff do you have?

Car got hit while parked 2 weeks ago. 1 Quarter panel messed up bad. I can still drive it but the tire has some slashing on shoulder. Can't pay deductable right now so its gonna sit at work. Might see if the tire passes tech at Oakland this Sunday.

SCCA at candlestick-
Let a GT Academy candiate co-drive to get some Nissan driving exp points before going to Silverstone later this month. Ran the car in SM T2 (should have been SSM?)and he was 1st in class I think and i'm sure 5th overall. This was my 6th event and I was 7 spintastic seconds off.
Car is 03 enth with O.S. diff, Ohlins DFV and SPL UCAs and rear camber arms.
Had it corner balanced and aligned to
Front -3.2 Camber, 9.7 Caster, -.02 Toe
Rear -2.0, .03
Weight was 3316 with 5 gals and 150lb driver 54/45 F/R balance.
Tires were 275/40 Continental something something DW on 17' RPF1's.
It was nice to see what the car could really do, actually it was damned scary. Hitting 3rd in a parking lot in pass seat with dumpsters scattered about is something else. Also, gravel sucks!

I don't think the other guys stood a chance.

I skipped the Dover Tour this weekend in favor of running a regional classic (Cumberland Airport Autocross annual "Long" course). Managed to cone away the PAX win.....you'll see my reaction at the end. Usually this event has some of the best soloists in the area (Karwan, Strano, etc), but with the Dover tour the same weekend....the big guns were off to the east. Would have been 7th raw (out of 87) behind 3 c-mods, 1 d-mod, 1 e-mod, and an XP cobra (which got DQ'd from Divisionals last year for being underweight). Second slalom was still a complete mess this run as well....the decreasing interval made the last two gates impossible to get through unless you were in a CSP miata or modified. Managed to hit 84mph as well! Needed a 70.95x to win Pax:

Just thought I would share with my Left Coast soloists

That's the fastest I have ever been at an autocross. Usually SCCA around here has a few spots where I hit the limiter in 2nd, but it isn't worth it to go to 3rd. I was at 6k-ish in 3rd on that course though.
I will be there at some point as well (work autox on the same day)!
I had fun running with PCA on a new Alameda lot right next to USS Hornet yesterday. Not the best surface but it was fun to go out and run with Porsche guys in the Nissan. We were picking up lots of gravel and it was tough to get power down but I pulled off a couple fast runs. we had 14 runs total. Lol!
Overall I was really happy with the car as I was on my skinnier track tire setup with almost dead Hoosier r6 tires. The Nismo knocked off most of the street legal Porsches with exception of well driven GT3, 996 turbo and a Cayman S. All three on Hoosier a6s. I suspect A6s would have put me in the running with them. But they only got the Nismo by a couple to few tenths.
